LUCYS P.O.V

So today is Lydia's and Jays big day. She had asked me to be maid of honour. Of course, I said yes. I still felt a little sick from the hen night two nights ago but I'll cope.

I sat down on the sofa downstairs already in my rich blue bridesmaid dress. It fell to the floor, it was simple but perfect. I was having my hair done by the professional hair stylist. My make up was already done.

I was so excited for today. I just didn't know what to do with myself.

I took a gulp of my champagne while picking up my phone To ring Jay for the first time today. It rung a few times before he finally answered.

"Hello?"

"OH MY GOD YOURE GETTING MARRIED TODAY!" I squealed down the phone to him. I heard myself speaking as there was a slight delay and I heard him chuckle.

"I know! I'm all suited and booted. How's everything there?" That made no sense to me as he wasn't wearing boots but I went along with it.

"Yeah great. Everything's going to plan. How was your night? Hotel ok?" I asked, sniggering a little as we got the house and the boys went to a hotel.

"It was great actually." He giggled.

"Oh. will I get a dance later considering I'm your best friend or does Lydia have you all to herself now?" I asked him, hoping he'd say we could have a dance.

"Oh defiantly. Show off our amazing dance moves to everyone." He sniggered at me. Me and Jay could not dance for shit.

"Great. I'll see you in a bit. Bye husband to be.." I giggled.

"Bye our lovely maid of honour." With that we hung up. I was so incredibly proud of them. I just wanted them to be happy. I couldn't wait to see what Tyler looked like. He was also at the hotel. I bet he'll look so cute in his little suit. He's grown so big it's unreal. I'm trying to get him to say "Lucy" before mum and dad, but Jay will kill me If he did.

"Ok. How's this?" Rose, the hair stylist asked, holding a mirror in front of me and one behind me. She had curled it and pinned it all to the right with a blue sparkly pin. It looked amazing.

"Oh wow, it looks great."

"Fantastic," she smiled. Rose had already done Lydia's hair, she was upstairs trying to get her dress on with the woman who brought the dress over this morning. I think her name was Jessie. But I wasn't taking much notice as I was eating.

"Lucy?" A soft voice called. I turned around and there she was. Lydia. In her wedding dress. It looked amazing on her. It was fitted up the top, with diamonds across the top and the middle where the dress started to poof out. She looked like a princess. It sounds cringey me saying that, I know. But she honestly did. She had more of a natural look, with a bit if glitter that shimmered when the light shone at it on her eyes. She had a fishtail plait down the left side of her face with a tiara. She looked amazing.

"Wow.." I whispered as I looked at her in awe.

"Do I look alright?" She asked me, while Jessie held the back of her dress. I nodded because I had no words.

"Amazing.." I managed to force out. She walked towards me and pulled me into a hug. "Did your mum and dad respond?" I asked into her shoulder.

"No.." She whsipered. "They're not coming."

"Then, who'll walk you down the isle?"

She pulled away. "I actually wanted to speak to you about that.." I nodded along. "I want you to give me away.." She smiled.
