The Pregnancy

Chapter 30

Today is the day. The day the boys leave me and go on tour. "Are you ready to go? We need to leave so you can make your flight on time." I called up to Luke who came home a day after the whole Olive Garden mishap. Niall has yet to return my phone calls, my texts, my emails, heck he won't even open my snapchats. I don't blame him though, I do kind of deserve it with everything I put them through.

"Yeah, I have everything. Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Luke asked as he came down the stairs with pretty much everything he owns. "You know all the boys would love it if you were there." Luke said setting down his stuff and coming close to me. "Please, I don't think I can handle six months away from you. Then we can find out the gender of our baby together instead of you just calling me and telling me what it is." He said with one hand on my cheek. "Please Alex come with me." He said kissing me hoping that would make me wish I could be with him every second of the day.

"No Luke, it wouldn't be a good idea. You can meet me in Minnesota in six months. To be fair I wasn't going to call and tell you the gender of our baby I was going to have a big reveal to you when we saw each other before the wedding." I said with a big smile knowing he wasn't going to like waiting an extra two months. He put his hands on his hips giving me a look knowing that I wasn't serious. "Fine, I'll call you when I find out." I said picking up one of his bags and walking it to the door. "But in the mean time you need to leave otherwise they will leave without you." I said as he picked up the rest of the bags and we brought them to the car and put them in the trunk.

"I'll drive to the airport, your driving scares me." He said quickly getting into the drivers seat before I had a chance to say no. "Plus why would you want to drive to and from the airport, give yourself a break, take a nap or something." He said as I got into the passenger seat. "I really am going to miss you." He said looking at me before backing out of the driveway. "And I'm not just saying that because we might run into Niall today, I'm saying that because it's true." He said while focusing on the road. 

"I'm going to take a nap, this baby is draining all my energy lately." I said making up an excuse to pretend like I was sleeping so I didn't have to listen to him tell me he loves me every five minutes. I just want to be in my house alone watching netflix with BG all day. I didn't sign up for this, for being told how beautiful and smart and all that bullshit all the time. There is only so much of that I can handle.

I must have actually fell asleep because the next thing thing I remember Luke was nudging me awake. "We are here." He said said as I rubbed my eyes as I woke up. "This is it." He said with a big smile on his face. "Tomorrow we will be on stage in front of thousands of people. And in nine months I can bring you and the baby on stage and show off my family." He said touching my stomach. I saw the rest of the boys walking towards the car knowing they were waiting for Luke because like always we were running behind. It's gotten to the point where they try to tell us the even starts forty five minutes before it actually starts, yet we still find ourselves arriving late. "I wonder what they are waiting for?" Luke sarcastically asked knowing they were always waiting for us.

"Took you guys long enough to get here, now you guys are taking forever to get out of the car!" Kelli joked walking up to my window. "The boys are kinda pissy, we got here forty minutes ago hoping you guys would get here early since Calum told Luke to meet here an hour ago." Kelli said looking at Luke who just shrugged.

"Whoops." He said as everyone rolled their eyes at him.

"Hurry up guys the One Direction guys are waiting for us at the gate. Louis told me they had it closed off to the public and the airport can only do that for so long so we need to get going." Michael said trying to rush us. We quickly jumped out of the car, grabbed his luggage, and ran to gate number four. It took us about ten minutes to go through customs and another fifteen to go through security but we finally made it. 

"Where's Niall?" I heard Calum ask. I looked around and Niall was no where in site, looks like we aren't the only ones who are late this time.

"He moved his flight back." Harry said looking me dead in the eyes. "He said he had a few things he needed to do before he left, if you ask me I think he's avoiding something." He said looking away from me. 

"Or someone." I muttered as everyone was looking at me. 

"Alright, let's get this show on the road, literally." Louis said trying to rush everyone onto the plane. 

Everyone boarded except for me, Luke, and Ashton. "Behave you two, I don't want to hear about you two on the news or anything like that. Call me every night, text me often, keep me updated on things. Don't be dumb, be careful, be safe. I love you both and I will see you in six months." I said hugging them goodbye. I watched as the boarded the plane, ready to take on the world. I walked over to the window and waited until their plane took off for the runway. I watched as their plane took off knowing it was going to be a long six months before I saw everyone again.

Apparently late night updates are going to be a thing for me. I would have updated sooner but I'm not going to lie I was trying, and failing, to take selfies. And to be honest I couldn't think of what to write so if this part sucks that's why, I apologize! Lemme know what you think, even if you think it sucks!
