Chapter 22

"Me and pretty boy?" I asked as Niall started to laugh a little blowing his cover.

"Hey! I thought you were asleep!" Kelli said as Niall pulled me in tight so Kelli would have more room on the bed.

"In my defense I also thought you didn't know what we were talking about. But I'm glad you 'ship' Alex and me A.K.A. pretty boy." Niall said looking over at the TV.

"Alex refers to you as pretty boy too its not just me!" Kelli said stubbornly crossing her arms.

"Do you now?" Niall said raising his brow with a smirk.

"KELLI I squealed knowing the secret was out. "Don't act all cocky now! I only said it once and that was because Luke walked in on our conversation and he thought we were talking about PLL." I said starting to get flustered.

"PLL?" He questioned.

"Pretty Little Liars duh." I said as if he should  have known. "Ezra is pretty boy not you. I mean you're pretty and all but that nickname is already taken." I said as Niall nodded and let out a yawn. "Babe go to bed if you're tired." I said as my eyes went wide as I realized I just said babe.

"Babe?" He questioned with a tired smirk.

"I-I-I ummmm... Sorry it slipped I didn't mean it I swear." I said as Kelli giggled a bit.

"No no! I liked it." He said kissing my head that was now laying on his chest. "Use it more often okay?"

"Okay." I said as k started to blush.

"Promise?"

"Promise." I said as Kelli sighed and rolled her eyes.

"You guys are too cute it makes me wanna throw up." Kelli said puffing out her cheeks putting her hand over her mouth making a gagging noise as if she was going to puke.

"Oh shut up." I whispered as I heard Niall start to softly snore. "I used to think the same thing about you and Calum, so it's your turn to feel the se pain." I said as my eyes stated to get heavy. "I'm going to bed... Night love you." I said as sleep quickly pulled me under.

I woke up in the morning to an empty bed; curious I quickly shot out of bed looking for my missing companions. Companions? Did I really just call them companions? I mean last night with Niall was great but what does that make us? What about Luke? What about everything we've been through? What about the engagement? My thoughts were quickly interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone with an unknown number.

"Hey babe it's me. I just wanted to apologize for not coming home last night the practice ran a little longer then expected." Luke's morning voice quickly filled the phone.

"No that's fine... Whose num..."

"Luke what do you want for breakfast?" A female voice shouted from what must have been another room.

"Who is that?" I half yelled through the phone as Kelli and Niall walked in the front door with coffee.

"Oh that? That's just Lindsey, she's an old friend of mine." Luke said rushing the words hoping I didn't catch the name.

"You mean you're ex Lindsey? The one you left for me?" I said realizing I had no right to be mad in this situation.

"Yes Alex the one I LEFT FOR YOU!" He said as he emphasized the last part of the sentence. "We have always been friends... Anyways I gotta go... I'll probably be home late tonight so don't wait up. Love you, bye." He said quickly hanging up the phone.

"Oh hey... I was just on the phone with Luke sorry." I said trying to calm down so Kelli wouldn't see through my face.

"What did he say?" Niall asked as he looked kind of nervous.

"That he would be home late and not to wait up for him." I said sounding kind of annoyed.

"What's the matter did I do something wrong?" Niall asked taking my annoyance to heart.

"No it's not you its just the hormones and stuff you know?" I asked as Kelli raised her eyebrow.

"Well in that case I bought you some coffee and I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date tonight say around 6:00?" Niall asked bringing a smile to my face.

"Of course I will." I said as Niall started to blush.

"Alright I'll pick you up at 6:00... See you then." Niall said before kissing my cheek and walking out the door.

"Alright I know the tone of your voice and your attitude was NOT because of your hormones... Spill." Kelli said crossing her arms and giving me the common Kelli disappointed look.

"Luke stayed at Lindsey's last night. I mean I know I shouldn't be worked up over this because Niall stayed the night last night and we are going on a date tonight but at least Niall isn't my ex. I mean do I have the right to be mad? Heck I feel like I have the right to be livid because I am indeed LIVID! My ass is about to get crazy... Like you've never seen crazy until you've seen my crazy ass in action. Hell no it could have been anyone else but her and I wouldn't have been this mad but no it had to be her. Are you going to say anything?" I said panting after saying all of that in almost one breath.

"I was waiting for you to be done ranting before I said anything." Kelli said as I felt a little bit embarrassed. "Anyways is this the same ex Lindsey that he cheated on you with?
