Chapter 20

Niall quickly fell back asleep with a smile on his face, leaving Kelli and I alone to talk again. I played with his hair, running my fingers through his hair and watched him as his face twitched along with his dreams. 

"It's kind of a shame you guys never got a chance. You guys would make a cute couple." Kelli said as I started to blush.

"I make a cute couple with everyone." I said as we both started to laugh.

"Oh yeah? What about Kevin Anderson back in 10th grade?" She said as we started laughing even harder knowing that was a horrible relationship.

"Okay that was a huge mistake! No one looked cute with him. No one is ever going to look cute with him, honestly! What did I ever even see in him anyways?"

"You fell for words." Kelli said as I knew she was right.

"Yeah yeah I know... We don't need to talk  about this anymore. How are you and Calum?" I said trying to change the subject.

"What do you mean how are Calum and I?"

"I know you guys have been fighting lately. I hope everything will be okay." I said trying to figure out what was actually wrong with my best friends relationship.

"Yeah it's been intense lately but I feel like he's just hiding something from me you know? Like I feel like he's cheating on me or something." She said starting to tear up.

"No don't cry, this is Calum we are talking about." I said as she started to laugh a little.

"That's true. I mean I'm like the best thing that has ever happened to him." She said as we both started to laugh because we both knew it was true.

"Put in another movie this conversation is getting too depressing for me." I said as she looked at me then at Niall.

"You're lucky you have a cute guy laying with you otherwise I SO would have made you go change the movie. What do you want to watch?" She said sifting through the movies. "How about Frozen?"

"NO!" I said clearly sick of that movie. "Wow we are lucky that he is a heavy sleeper." 

"WE are not lucky, YOU are lucky. HE is not my problem. You better hope he's not here when Luke gets home." She said giving me that look that she always gave me when she knew I was doing something wrong and I was bound to get caught.

"I know I know. I will just make him go lay in the bed and say he came over drunk and I didn't want him to drive home or something. I will be able to pull this off trust me. It's not like we are sleeping together, and if we were it's not like he walked in on us." I said as I saw Niall smile a little bit. "You aren't even asleep!" I said as I playfully hit his chest.

"So you think we would make a cute couple?" He said only opening one eye and turning to look at me with a big smile on his face. 

"You know I liked it better when you were asleep." I said as he sat up and pulled me into his chest. 

"If it makes you feel any better I think we would make a cute couple too." He said as I kind of glared at him.

"No Niall that does NOT make me feel better. Why would that make me feel better?" I said starting to get mad at him even more.

"Shut up you two. Alex you know that made you happy. Now just cuddle and with each other and watch the movie I put in, or go to the bedroom and watch TV in there or something." She said as Niall shot up. He picked me up off the couch and started to walk away.

"Where are you taking me? Put me down I'm turning into a fat cow!" I shouted as Kelli started to smile.

"Well I was going to take you to your room but now that I think about it I don't actually know where your room is. And now that I think about it I'm sure Kelli will be joining us pretty soon because girls never separate. So tell me where your room is and we can cuddle just you and I for now." Niall said as I started to giggle. 

"Down the hall and to the left." I said as he pushed open the door and set me down on the bed. alright change into PJ's while I go to the bathroom and when I come back we can cuddle." Niall said with a wink.

"How do you know that's what I want?" I said teasing Niall.

"Trust me I know. Now change."
