The Pregnancy

Chapter 24

"Where is he? He should be here by now." I said looking at the clock on my phone.  I mean I know Harry is coming from Niall's place and I asked him not to tell him but I'm going out of my mind being alone right now.

"Sorry I'm late! Niall kept asking me about my plans. So if he asks I'm at my mums and we are going to lunch with my sister who is only in town for tonight." He said rushing through the door. "Alright so what's wrong? Everything okay with the baby? Oh god please tell me you didn't lose both of them. I wanted to be uncle Harry to that little one!" Harry said as it looked like he was about to cry.

"No no nothing like that. Although Luke wishes something had happened to my baby. Kelli told me he told his mom that he hates kids and wishes both my babies had died. And on top of it all when I confronted him about it he didn't even deny it. He told me that he was hoping I would end up 'Coming to my senses' and give the baby up. Harry what if my baby ends up growing up without a father? I don't know if I can be a single mother." I said about to burst into tears. Harry pulled me into his chest, comforting me in the only way he knew how.

"Shh... You won't be alone. You have me, Louis. Liam, Zayn, and of course Niall who will raise this baby as his own. You have nothing to worry about. We all love you, we all love this baby, and we all want what's best for the both of you. So if that includes you leaving Luke and moving in with us for awhile, heck even if that means coming on tour with us, so be it. So don't worry about what you'll lose look at what you're gaining. Think of what's best for the baby. Being 'raised' by someone who has never wanted them is not good for the baby." Harry  said as I realized he was right.

"You know what Harry you're right. But honestly I can't leave him right now. I need time to tell Niall everything that has been going on. If I want this whole thing to work out I need to make sure that this baby NEVER finds out that Luke is it's father. If Niall is willing to take this baby in as his own I need to hear this from him. I need to know that he is all in. That he is going to be here for the long haul. Anyways I need to talk about something else. I can't talk about this anymore." I said cleaning up my face as I could tell my makeup was on my cheeks instead of around my eyes.  

"Well what's one thing you've  always wanted but never gotten?" He asked wiping the remaining make up I missed from under my eyes. What is he trying to get at? 

"Umm I mean if I could get anything I've ever wanted, honestly I'd get a puppy. I've always wanted a dog but I'm 17 and my mom wouldn't let me get one and now Luke is allergic. So honestly I think it's long over due." I said as he started to grin.

"Alright let's go to the humane society and get you that puppy." Harry said as I squealed and gave him a hug.

"Are you serious?" I asked as I shot up to my feet and pulling him up with me.

"Of course I am! Why would I lie about that?" Harry said as we got in the car and started to drive to the humane society. He honestly has no idea how much this means to me.

When we got to the humane society I shot out of the car with excitement. "Woah slow down! Why are you running.... Annnd She's already in there." Harry said as I was waiting for him to follow me in. "Wow you're so sweet for waiting for me at the door. Even though you shot out of the car, almost pushed me over in the mean time, and raced me into the building!" Harry said making fun of me.

"I'm excited to see all the animals okay?" I said starting to blush because I was embarrassed. "If I could I would adopt all if the animals." I said picking up a kitty named Newt.  "Oh Harry look at how cute he is! Oh and look at Kurt! Oh my goodness and Duncan has the cutest meow!" I said trying to hug every kitty and stuff them under my shirt so I can steal them all.
