Chapter 18

"Surprise? What surprise? What did you get him?" Kelli kept asking while I started to blush.

"Oh its nothing really..." I said just as she started to get the hint.

"Oh..... OH!" Kelli said as I started to laugh. "Yeah I don't want to know about that." She said as we both started to laugh.

"Should I find out the gender of he baby or should I keep it a secret until I have it?" I asked as Kelli started to nod her head along knowing it was a tricky question that was in the mind of a lot of expected mothers.

"Well I say find out what it is so you can know the name and so you don't have to get those unisex clothes and paint your babies room yellow or whatever. You know what I mean? And then your parents and others know what to get you for the baby." Kelli said as I realized I haven't talked to my parents yet.

"SHIT! I haven't told my parents yet!" I said as Kelli started to laugh. "Well I guess I can tell them at the wedding." I said as I shrugged it off. My parents were never a huge part of my life anyways.

"When is Niall coming?" Kelli asks as my phone lit up with a text from Niall

Sorry I'm running a little late. I will be there in about 10 minutes.

"He's running a little late... He will be here in about 10 minutes. Well make that 15-20 minutes knowing Niall he probably hasn't left yet." I said as we started laughing.

"Ugghh my baby is hungry." I said as Kelli laughed.

"No I'm pretty sure that's you, you're always hungry." She said as I started to laugh.

"Well now I have an excuse." I teased.

"Well I will order a pizza. I will be right back." Kelli said getting up and grabbing her phone.

Kelli came back a few minutes later saying the pizza would be here in about 30 minutes.

I was starting to grow excited that Kelli, Niall, and I were going to hang out tonight. I know i still haven't really talked to Niall since the whole hospital thing when he tried to get me to be with him instead of Luke.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. "Hello?" I hear an Irish thick accent say as the door opened and a blond head popped around the corner.

"Niall!" I said as I got up off the couch and ran over to hug him. "Took you long enough to get here." I teased as we sat down on the couch next to Kelli. "The pizza should be here any minute." I said as I looked at the clock. It had been about 28 minutes since Kelli called and ordered the pizza.

"I had to get away from the guys! You've met them, can you imagine how hard it is to tell them that you are leaving and will be back in a few hours?" Niall said as i started to laugh

"See you later guys, I'm going out for a few hours. Don't wait up." I said as he playfully hit my arm.

"Don't make fun of me!" Niall said as the door bell rang.

"I got it." Kelli said as I handed her the money to pay for the pizza. I got up and walked into the kitchen to grab some plates.

"DO YOU GUYS WANT SOMETHING TO DRINK?!" I shouted as I turned around to find Niall in the door way of the kitchen. "Sorry." I say as I realize how loud that must have been to him.

"No, it's fine. I just came to see if you needed any help." He said as I started putting pop cans on top of the plates. "Here let me grab that." He said when I clumsily almost dropped the plates.

"Thank you." I said when he grabbed the plates from me. I took the cans and napkins and followed him into the living room to find Kelli sitting in the living room with three pizzas.

"I heard you liked to eat s I ordered three just in case." Kelli joked as Niall started to laugh.

"I do like to eat. Thanks for thinking about me." Niall laughed while he sat down next to Kelli.

"What movie are we going to watch?" Niall asked.

"Wait I thought you were here to talk about the tour." I said looking at him questionably.

"Well that was my excuse to come over here. I know you chose Luke but we can still be friends can't we? I mean if not I understand but I was really hoping that we could be friends. I mean I know it was wrong for me to say that I was coming here to talk about the tour and really coming here to just be here with you. First off I would like to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything, for lying for whatever you want me to be sorry for. Alex what do you say, will you be my friend?" Niall asked. I couldn't help myself and I started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Kelli said after she hit my arm.

"I'm sorry." I said as I saw the look on Niall's face. "It's just, you didn't have to be all sappy, I thought we were friends already. Thank you for apologizing but it wasn't needed. I don't know about you but I don't let random people come to my house and eat pizza with me and my best friend. Niall of course I will be your friend, although I already thought we were friends." I said while Niall's face went from concerned to relieved.

"Oh thank god. I was worried that was going to go a whole different way." Niall said as I smiled.

"Niall I will always be your friend."

Sorry about the wait! I have just been caught up with work and vacation and boy drama! I'm SO sorry you guys had to wait this long.

So what do you guys think about this chapter? Was it worth the wait? It wasn't a very eventful chapter but I hope you guys liked it anyways.
