Chapter 12

"Wh-what?" I asked backing up a bit. I'm only 17. we can't get married...... can we?

"Will you marry me? we don't have to get married soon it could even be in a year or two but I know you're the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I don't want you to think that I am just proposing because we are having a baby together but it's not. I love you Alex." What do I say? am I ready for this kind of relationship? Am I mentally prepared to be married? To be settled down at such a young age.

"Guys what are you doing in here?" Calum asked opening the door.

"We were ahhh just about to leave actually." I said pushing passed Luke and Calum to only find Niall and Ashton in the room.

"Harry, Liam, Louis and Zayn brought the girls home I wanted to stay with you to make sure you are okay." Niall said standing up and walking to my side.

"Niall you don't have to stay..... Really I'm fine." I said as he helped me onto the bed. He pulled the blanket up over my lap.

"Alex I'm staying and that's that." Niall said as the boys came out of the bathroom.

"Kelli should be here soon. she has to work otherwise she would have been here sooner." Calum said as I started to smile.

"Good! I haven't seen her in forever!" I said as Niall looked confused.

"Kelli is my girlfriend and Alex's best friend." Calum said as Niall nodded along.

"Alex?" A tiny female voice asked as there was a knock on the door.

"Kelli!" I shouted telling her that I was in the room. "It's been so long get over here!" I shouted as she started to run over to the side of my bed.

"YOU'RE HAVING A BABY AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!" Kelli said putting her hands on her hips.

"Well I was supposed to have two but that would explain why I am in here." I said as Niall patted my leg to comfort me.

"Oh Alex.... I'm so sorry." Kelli said following the arm on my leg to find it's rightful owner. "Oh I'm sorry I don't think we have met. I'm Kelli Lumely." She said extending her hand to shake Niall's hand.

"Niall Horan." Niall said shaking Kelli's hand.

"You aren't the baby daddy are you?..... I mean it would be fine if you were but last time I checked she was still dating Luke and I was kind of looking forward to Luke and Alex having kids.... But if you guys....." Kelli said starting to embarrass herself.

"Kelli stop." I said looking over at Niall who was smiling.

"No it's fine. No Kelli I am not the father, Luke is." Niall said trying to make Kelli feel better

"Niall is just a friend." I said as I saw Niall's smile fade. That was weird.... maybe he was sick of smiling. Yeah, he was sick of smiling.

"Yeah just a.... Just a friend." Niall said as his tone faded. "Anyways how did you and Calum meet?" Niall said as Calum pulled Kelli onto his lap.

"Well we were friends." Calum said knowing Kelli would correct him like they do EVERY TIME they tell this story.

"Childhood friends." Kelli said as Luke laid down next to me on the hospital bed.

"Here we go again." Luke whispered. Crap Kelli thought I giggled at her correcting Calum.

"After we pranced each other and wound up in the principle's office that is." Calum said smiling at Kelli.

"And I started to have a crush on Calum."

"And I grew a crush on Kelli."
