MISSING HER

Natsu's POV

I sniffed the air rapidly. "She's nearby." I told my self. All of a sudden, the storm came to a sudden stop. It was too weird. It was as if someone was trying to keep me from her.

I could now clearly see Porlyusica's home. I nervously jogged over to it. She's been here. Suddenly, Porlyusica's door swung open. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw me. "Natsu? Well...if it isn't the fire-breathing extra work." I rolled my eyes at her comment. "Look just tell me where Lucy is." She looked at me blankly. "Oh, Lucy huh...well. I haven't seen her in a while, maybe a year or so." My face dropped. Liar. Her
scent is here, I'd know her scent anywhere,
it smells like vanilla mixed with a floral scent, and I must admit, it leaves a burning sensation in my perverted mind.

I mentally slapped myself for that one. "Dammit! Tell me where she is, I have a good nose and I know her scent from anywhere!" Porlyusica shrugged slightly. "Listen here you fire breathing hard headed young version of Makarov!" I shut my mouth at the outrageous statement. "If she wanted you to find her she would've told you already. That's the only information I'll hint you with about her where-bouts. Now, leave before I freeze you in my freezer." I shrugged. "Okay bye Porlyusica!" She shrugged me off and walked back into her home.

I headed back to the guild, I miss you Luce, but...I know you're okay now. You're just training. Right? You haven't gone and joined another guild behind our back have you? No who am I kidding, you're Lucy of Fairy Tail. And not even a million times of you betraying me could ever change that. To me, you will always be...Lucy of Fairy Tail. Also that annoying blonde haired girl who drives me nuts, makes me laugh and smile, but most importantly, she makes me feel needed, more than needed...wanted. She makes me feel...I don't know how to explain it in words...it just feels...good? I shook my head at my stupid way of over thinking and smiled.

Hey Luce, will you bring me back some food? Maybe even make me some of your famous pancakes? I licked my dry lips at the thought. She's always been a good cook. She knows just how to win a man ove- err not that I'm in love with her or anything. Dammit! I slammed my palm on my forehead. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! No! You're not in love." I mumbled under my breath, reaching the Fairy Tail guild hall. "She's just a friend, and I'm okay with that." I smiled as I bursted through the doors. "Hey guys I'm back! Lucy is fine! She's going to be training still." Everyone grumbled under their breaths. I sat down at our team's table. Lissanna walked over and tried to sit where Lucy used to sit, I put my foot there. "Sorry Lissanna, but this seat is saved for Lucy." I said with a slight smile. She gave me a fake looking smile back. "Right. Sorry." She took a seat where Happy always sits. "Listen Natsu. My siblings are going to me going on a job without me and I was wondering if...well if you'd like me to join your team temporarily." I gave her a sheepish smile. "Lissanna look, we're great friends in all, but there's no way in hell I'd ever change my team up, not even temporarily." She bit her lip as her eyes watered. "Oh- I'm sorry for asking." I stopped her from running of. "Don't cry Lissanna, you know it's nothing personal." She nodded at me with her back facing my face. "I get it." She said pulling away from me and running out of the guild. I sighed as I slouched down in my chair. "Girls are so confusing." Grey overheard me and raised an eyebrow. "For once I agree with the fireball." I rolled my eyes at his statement. "Tell me about it man." A smiled formed on Grey's face as he sat down across from me in place of where Lisssanna was sitting. "Man, Juvia won't leave me alone." The ice-freak rested his head on his palm. "Yeah, so I've noticed for the past year." I chuckled at my own comment. Grey groaned. "Hey, but she does deserve a straight answer dude." He rolled his eyes at me. "I know. I know. Well, what about you." I raised my pink bushy eyebrow. "What about me?" Grey gave me a series of drop dead looks. "You and Lucy...when are you two gonna be official." I felt my cheeks warm up. What the hell?! I'm blushing?! I never blush! I shrugged. "We're just friends dude." He rolled his eyes. "Sure flames for brains."

We proceeded to fight with Erza pulling us off of each other.
