It's about five o'clock. I'm resting my head on the back of my chair, while me feet are hanging out of the window. We're taking the long way back, along the beach front. Luke tells me that we're about half an hour away from home. Our hands are once again intertwined in between us.
"Should we phone Lexi and ask her what we're doing for supper?" Luke asks.
"Yeah sure, she probably got off work a while ago, although she was working two shifts today, so I'm not actually sure when she'll be finished. It's worth a try though," I respond, placing my feet back in the car.
Luke commands Siri, "Phone Lexi Summers."
"I'm not sure what you said," Siri replies.
"Give it to me," I insist, "Siri always listens to me."
"Oh dream on! Siri listens to no one!" He laughs.
"Fine, watch this." I take Luke's phone and hold down Home Button. "Siri, phone Lexi Summers' mobile."
"Phoning Lexi Summers, mobile," comes her short response back, before the phone starts ringing.
After a brief chat and a promise that we'll tell her what we did at our picnic, well not everything, we drove to pick up pizza.
