The day had came for Luke to head back on the road for a 3 month back to back tour before he comes back to be with me until October. We spent the last two days in bed, getting reacquainted if y'all know what I mean.
I told him I wanted to drive him to the airport as I wanted to spend as much time with him before he leaves as possible.
We arrived at the airport and Luke and I were standing out at the front enjoying one another's space,
"Hey Luke" I heard a woman shout. She was blonde hair and blue eyes and looked really happy to see him, who in the hell was she. Luke turned round and said,
"Oh hey Caroline" oh shit that's Caroline his ex, what the actual hell is she doing here.
"Baby don't overthink things" Luke whispered,
"Hey Caroline, how are you, this here is my beautiful wife Katie"
She turned and smiled at me and said,
"Oh hey Katie, you are definitely beautiful, so Luke's type" what in the hell did she mean so Luke's type,
"Oh thank you"
"So Carol where are you heading, I thought you were down in Georgia."
"I'm heading to Las Cruces on business, what about you"
Luke squeezed my hand, he knew I was not at all happy with the situation right now,
"I'm also going there, playing there tomorrow night" I turned to him and said,
"Baby I think I will be heading and let you two catch up" I turned and gave him a kiss,
"I will FaceTime you tonight" I turned and put on the a fake smile.
"Only if you are not too busy, see you in 3 months Luke" and with that I turned and walked away without looking back, because if I did he would see how upset I really was.
When I reached my truck, my cell phone pinged, it was Luke,
"Baby are we ok?"
I don't know what we were, my husband is getting on to a flight with his ex girlfriend, so I just replied back to him
"I hope so baby"
