Flashback *ring ring ring ring "Hello" he answered "Hi baby I'm sorry was you sleeping" "You could say that" he said rather grumpy "I was just calling about Bo's birthday party, and just checking to see who you wanted to come" I said "Katie it's a month away yet do you need this info right now come on give me a break" he snapped "What crawled up your arse" I retorted "I'm trying to sleep and you are going on about something that he won't even know is happening" he shouted "You know what Luke why don't you just fuck off and call me when you have stopped being such a grumpy ass" and with that I hung up the phone. I was actually really annoyed at his reaction. This is our baby boys first birthday and he is being an ass. He can call me when he comes out of whatever mood he is in. LeClaire was coming over in half an hour and we were going to go through the entertainment. He put Bo down for a nap just as LeClaire came in , "Hey honey how are y'all today" she said as she gave me a hug, "I'm doing good thanks, well actually that's a lie, me and Luke had a row last night and I haven't spoken to him all day" I said. Itoldabout him going off in one, and she said, "I swear that boy can be as stubborn as a mule, but honey let him call you." She said sympathetically "I think your right, now let's get this party organised, with or without his daddy's help" "That's a girl and once we are finished why don't you call Jacob and go out for a few drinks and dinner and I will look after Bo" Thats what I did. We had finished all the planning and even found a cake which was gonna be in the shape of a deer and it looked so cute.

I called Jacob and we had planned to meet up at the Bluebird cafe where we could listen to some music and gave a drink and dinner. "Thank you for looking after Bo I will be home around midnight. If my idiot husband calls tell him I'm out. I'm not taking my phone and if you need me this is Jacobs cell number" I gave her a hug and got into the taxi.
Luke's POV I felt terrible about the way I spoke to Katie, but I was tired and I get grumpy when I'm tired. I would give her a call after the show tonight and apologise, but in the mean time Carter and I where going to do a little NASCAR driving. After the show I checked my cell to see if she had called but nothing, so I dialled her up to say sorry. Straight to voicemail, so I called the house phone, *ring ring "Hello" "Mama is that you what you doing there is Katie ok, where is she" "Thomas Luther it is 1030 and this is you just calling to apologise" she said sounding mad, "I take it Katie told you" "Yes she did and she ain't here she went out with Jacob" "I'm sorry mama, you raised me better I know, she called at the wrong time and I took my mood out in her" I said sheepishly "It's not me you should be apologising to is it" "No ma'am, when she comes home can you get her to call me, I have some serious grovelling to do" We talked for a little while longer and I hung up. Damn Luke you are stupid. I just hope she will give me a call.
