Short Story #20

I looked over at my phone."Oh shit!!" I mumbled looking at the time.  "What?" Jeremy asked. "We only got 20 minutes and I haven't done my hair or makeup yet." I brushed through my hair and plugged in my straightner. I ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. "Babe calm down." Jeremy said once I walked in. "Here, do your makeup. I'll straighten your hair." He said as I sat down at my makeup desk. I looked in the mirror and carefully did my makeup as Jeremy straightened my hair behind me. "Ow!!" He yelped. "You okay??" I asked. "Yep. Freakin' straightener burned me." He said continuing to do my hair. I finished my makeup and took a look at my hair. Wow. It looked really good. "That looks great!!" I said surprised. "Done!!" He said stepping back. I checked my hair in the mirror. "Thanks babe." I said grinning. We were going out to eat for my dad's birthday and I was scared we'd run late... like always... I stood in front of my long mirror to take a picture when Jeremy ran up and kissed me. I accidentally pressed the picture button and I heard it click. I looked down at my phone to see the picture. "Hey, I really like this picture." Jeremy said chuckling. I rolled my eyes but I had to admit, I liked it too. So I set it as my wallpaper. And dinner with dad went great!! Especially since my dad "approved" of Jeremy.  (;
