S.H.I.E.L.D Is The Enemy

What it's like in my head

Makenna~

           "Wake up." A taunting voice says. The person laughs and there is something sickly familiar about the voice. Then I get it. My eyes open immediately and I try to sit up. But as soon as I try it I regret it. I get shocked and find that I am lying in a small bed sized pool of water. "Oh I wouldn't try that if I were you." I look at him with utter disgust. I look around the room. It is the same facility that I was once held in before. Steve would be smart enough to know that. . . wouldn't he?

Steve~

           All I could think about was Makenna and Zola. Although we had been at Starks' Tower for a couple of hours there was no progress. We had tried everything trying to find where they went. 

        "Makenna is a genius!" Tony says, laughing slightly. 
         "What?" I ask. He looks at me then Doctor Richards. 
         "Her powers. S.H.I.E.L.D. came up with an algorithm for tracking powered people. then these people would go on a list and taught to restrict their powers. If they used their powers someone at S.H.I.E.L.D. would immediately know. If I can somehow extract the source of her powers out of her blood, we can track her." He says. I nod. 
          ''What do you need?" I ask.  

          "We have her blood we just need to think of a way to extract-" I top listening when I think I hear something coming from the hall. I turn as the door opens. Lilly steps in. She is breathing heavily and sweating. 
         "Zola, I know where he is keeping her." I unfold my arms as she comes to stand by me. 
         "How?" I ask. 
          " A long time ago Macky got a new power. She can project herself into the mind of another person. But she can only do it once every 72 hours. It's kind of like calling but no one can record it and she can only do it when she is asleep." She grabs the laptop on the work bench and starts to input a bunch of numbers into it. 
          "What are you doing?" I ask. 
          "I am hacking into this base so that we will be able to see what's happening." She finishes typing and clicks enter and a bunch of surveillance videos come up. "Okay eenie meanie minie . . .  you." She clicks on a video and it shows up on the big screen. We all hold our breathe in anticipation as we wait for the video to show up, and as soon as it does we all stop breathing. Mack is strapped down to a table with water. She is talking to Zola and the water around her starts to steam up around her. Then she almost immediately stops and her expression turns into fear. 
           "I've never seen her so scared." I state. Lilly looks at me. 
          "Have you watched any of the other experiment videos?" She asks, I look at Tony before shaking my head no. "Well, long story short. Zola performed more than one experiment on her. She'd been gone for a week before we even found her. he is one of the only things that scare her. Let me see if I can't get audio, maybe we can hear what he's saying." She messes around with the computer a little bit. 
         "Did you really think I was dead?" Zola asks her. "Did you really think that I would never find you?" He stands by her and runs a hand down her face. But, she doesn't shudder. 

         "What's the chemistry there?" Tony asks. Lilly gulps. 
          "The very first time that she fell in love just had to be with a mad scientist." She says. "They met a while back and well lets just say they hit it off, and then after he got her to trust him, they both disappeared. So yeah, I guess you can say that there is chemistry there." I gulp. I should have kissed her back when I had the chance. 

         "Get away from me." Makenna says," You disgust me." Zola laughs at her. He moves away. 
         "Maybe now, but once you didn't." 

Makenna~

           I wanted to say that he was wrong, but he wasn't. I had once loved him. Or the man that I thought he was. Kol Kingsman. 

          "You can't even deny it." He says chuckling."That's alright for a time I wanted to deny who I was just because of how you looked at me." It was silent for a minute while he was taking inventory of the things he could torture me with.

         "You're right." I say shaking my head." I can't deny it. I can't deny that I was in love with you. I also can't deny that despite that love you tried to turn me into a killing machine meant to destroy anyone in my path. If you really loved me you wouldn't have done those things to me." I looked at the security camera. I know their watching and I know that . . .Steve is there watching with them. "So yeah I may have loved you once, but not now and not ever again." he turns around with a syringe full of blue liquid. I start to shake my head. 
        "We'll see about that." He starts to walk towards me and struggle to get free of the straps that are binding me. 
        "No. Don't!" I struggle but the water and electricity are making it hard for me to move. He puts his hand on my forehead and push my head to the left. I feel the prick of the needle and then the rush of liquid into my veins. He moves away from me. I try to hold of the power the liquid is forcing into my system but I can't. The power is slowly undoing me from the inside out. Then I black out. 
        When I wake up I am in the familiar room with only a window. I get off of the ground and look out the window. Zola is taking the straps off of the body that is no longer mine. As soon as the straps are off I jump on Zola. I am kissing him and then suddenly I am against the wall. Kol has one hand on my waste and the other on my cheek. My body and him are hard core making out and all I can do is watch. I have to wake myself up. I have to stop this. I focus on what is real. On what I know to be true. I am the daughter of Phil Coulson. I was adopted by the people I thought were my real parents. I am dangerous. I think . . . I think I am in love with Steve Rogers. Lilly is my best friend. I can break through this drug. 
        And just like that I open my eyes and there I am kissing Kol. I keep kissing him hoping not to make him too suspicious of me coming back. He starts to kiss my neck and I reach over to the small table trying to grab a knife, when he moves me. I role my eyes and continue to play along. I bring his lips back up to mine and then I take control. I shove to the wall nearest to the table and rip his shirt open. he doesn't hesitate to move me against the wall instead of him and soon I have the knife in my hand. He starts to kiss my neck again and I take this opportunity to take the knife and stab him in between two ribs. He doubles back in pain. He takes out the knife and falls to his knees on the ground. 
         "Even when we were dating I wasn't this easy. Come on Kol, get your crap together." I take a breathe and kick him in the face knocking him out. I look at the camera behind me. 
        "Mind sending a chopper please?" As if on cue the window in the cell gets taken out. I run to it and jump  out right into the awaiting arms of a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.
