Makenna~

Within two hours  of getting out of the med bay Fury had asked me to interrogate Zola. Of course Steve and Thor both advised against it but I didn't have a choice. I was the only one he would talk to. So I am currently standing in front of Zola's room. I take a deep breathe and reach for the handle as a hand comes down on my shoulder. I turn my head and see Steve giving me a reassuring nod. He slips into the room where he can watch me from and I open the door.
The first thing I see is Zola, sitting smugly at the table. His smile is like a foxes as he looks at me.

"I knew that you would come." He said," You need me whether you like to admit it or not." I close the door and go and sit in the seat opposite of him.

"I only came because you wouldn't talk to anyone else. So here I am," I sit back in my chair." Start talking." He looks at the mirror behind me.
"Are you sure you want them to know all your dirty little secrets? Dad's back there isn't he?" He smirks as he tries to get me to budge." Do you really want him to know who you really are?" I chuckle.

"Sorry, for a minute there I talked to you like you were human." I place one finger on the table and it starts to freeze. The ice gets to his hand and he just looks at me with fear in his eyes. "Do you know what happens when I use all of my powers?" I ask. He sharply takes a breathe. "Neither do I. Should we find out?" The ice starts to spread up his arm and closer to his neck.
"I'll talk! I'll talk, just stop!" I take my hand away from the table and the ice disappears.

"Good. Now what is so important about me?"

"You are the only one." My eyebrows scrunch together.
"The only one of what?" I ask.

         "Cree."
"But, I'm not the only Cree left. There is hundreds of inhumans all over the world." He chuckles.

"Not like you. You have a chemical in your blood, one that I put there. Not only does it enhance your powers it allows you to gain the powers of others. But, "He says," It's not just that. Have you ever wondered why you've always been alone? Always left to be someone elses problem?" I take a deep breathe.
"Look, I don't need to know why my back story is so tragic, I need to know answers. What do they want with me? Hydra, H.I.V.E., all of them what do they think they can gain?" He smirks again.
"You'll see soon enough daughter of the Cree." He says," And when the blood is under your feet and it's your fault,  you'll come back to me. Because I am the only one who can stop it all. I am the only one who can fix you." He starts to chuckle. I interrupt his chuckle.
"No I won't. And remember this, while you are in here rotting, with nothing to do but think. I will never give in to the copilot . I will fight as hard as I can against it because I will find a cure and I will get it out of me and you . . . you will lose." I stand up and walk towards the door. I stop and turn back," Jut like your father." He just looks at me as I turn.
"Wait! Your brother is alive." I stop dead in my tracks. "Now I have your attention." I turn around.
"My brother died the same night my mother did." I could feel my heart rate speeding up.
"Or did he? Of course you have no idea what happened after your father dropped you at that orphanage promising he would be back. He never did though, did he?" That was the last straw I couldn't hold back my anger. Before I knew what was happening I was across the room. Zola was on the floor and I was on top of him. My hand was continually hitting his face.

"Where is he!?" I yell. "Where is he!?" My hand comes back and someone catches it and pulls me off of Zola. "NO! I need to know where he is!" I fight against the arms holding me. The person drags me outside of the room as Natasha closes the door. The person lets me go and gets in front of me so that I can't go back in the room. I look up and see that it's Steve. I try to get by him but he grabs my arms and holds me back. He tosses me over his shoulder and carries me to another room before putting me down and placing his hands on my shoulders.
"Stop. Makenna stop." I stop trying to get by him and wipe my face. At some point I had started crying.

"Please, Steve. I have to know where he is! Please?"  He hugs me to his body as I cry. "I have to know that he is alright."

"We're going to find him, but not like that. That's not how we get information." I pull away from Steve." Pull yourself together. You're going back in. And this time you'll get your answers." I nod and wipe my eyes. "Are you ready?" I nod and we walk back to the room. We go in and I walk over to the table.
"I will only ask you once. Where is my brother? And before you answer know that I can freeze your organs in less than five seconds." Zola looks over to the corner where Steve is.
"Don't look at me. I won't stop her." I place my hands on the table and ice starts to overcome it.
"In my jacket! The clothes I came in. There is a microchip in the left pocket it will tell you everything you need to know I swear!" He says right as the ice reaches his hands. I remove my hands from the table.
"If there is anything else on that microchip I will come for you," I walk towards Steve and he opens the door for me.

When we get to the lab I go straight for the jacket. It's in a plastic bag that I am sure I am not supposed to open, but I open it anyway. I stick my hand in the left pocket and sure enough there is a microchip in it. i walk towards the TV when people start to trickle in.
"Wait." Steve says," Are you sure about this? are you sure you want to know?" I nod.
"I have to know. It was my fault. She was protecting me. Steve, I have to know." I place the microchip in its' slot and step back with every one else.
The video comes up on a little girl sleeping in a small room. The door opens and a lady comes in, her pregnant belly showing underneath the baggy shirt.

"Mommy," I whisper out loud making everyone turn towards me.
"You know this?" Steve asks. I rub my temple.
"Yes. This is the night that they give me up." I take a deep breathe and continue to watch the video.
"I love you baby girl." The lady says getting up and leaving the room. There is a sound and the little girl gets out of the bed dragging her bunny. The video switches to the hall. The little girl walks down the hall and to the study.

"Daddy!" The little girl yells. The older man runs into the study before grabbing the little girl and walking back to her room. The video shifts to the study where the lifeless body of a woman lies.
"Wait," Steve says," You saw her die." I nod my head as the video continues.

The door opens and the man comes back. He picks up the lady and then they are both gone. The video shifts to a hospital. The woman is in surgery, the doctors are taking the baby and the woman is still alive. The man is yelling at one of the doctors. With in minutes the doctors get the baby out and he is breathing.

"What's his name?" The nurse says.
"Brian." The man says," Brian Mack."

My voice is caught in my throat and all I can do is stare at my perfect baby brother.

The scene changes to an older boy. He looks to be about 16.

"Hey sis. So today is your birthday. Dad says you would have been 20 today. I'll never forgive him for letting you go. I wish every day that I knew you. Dad says your inhuman too. Maybe you could help me figure out what is wrong with me? I keep blacking out and waking up  in weird places having no idea how I got there. Then I show up on the news and it says I saved someone? Well, your not here, and I need answers. I found someone who will give me them. If you ever see this you can find me at a place called Hydra."
