I was woken by the sound of a chain rattling, and Owens hushed whisper, "Hayden? Get up!"

I gave a kind of muffled groan and sat up, pushing my curly hair out of my face. A section of cell wall to my left caught my attention as a trickle of dust landed on the floor. Getting up so fast that I stumbled, I took a few hesitant steps forward. "Owen?"

"Well come on. I haven't got all day."

"What are you doing?" I asked curiously.

"At least we can sort of talk now."

I knelt down next to the wall and grinned as I saw a single dark green eye peeking through. "Sup."

From what I could see he had white hair that was down to his neck and he was wearing a pair of tracksuit pants and a shirt that looked like the only time it had ever even been close to being clean was when it was first made.

He stared eagerly at me and I realized that he had been in here for way longer than he was letting on.

"I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable," He whispered, "it's just... you're the first human I've seen in about five years."

I stared at him in astonishment. "You're kidding me." I started to dread how many years may follow.

"Nope, no kidding."

"Well, just so you know, they've made at least ten new iPhone's." I grinned, trying to hide just how disturbed I was.

"Wow..." he sounded distant and moved away from the small hole in the wall he had made.

I sat there with my legs folded beneath me and simply waited patiently for him to come back. loosing  track of time I sighed, and moved back to the mattress that was on the dirty floor. I brushed of my jeans and sat on my bed. After a while I sensed that I was being watched and looked up.

I cried out in fright as I saw the same black cloaked person that had gone into Owens cell. moving back I called out, my voice higher than normal. "Owen?"

"Hayden? Whats wrong?" He must have sensed the distress in my tone because I saw his eyes peeking through the hole in the wall.

"No," he whispered, then in a hushed, terrified voice, "Hayden, listen to me, don't make any deals with her, don't except any drinks or food from her, even if your starving-"

"Owen, whats going to happen to me?" I started to freak out, he was acting like we would never see each other again.

"-and, one last thing," I could only see a small fraction of his face, but he was staring straight at me. "Never show your fear."

"Owen!?" I called desperately as the hooded figure unlocked the cell bars and came into the cell. I tried to dodge around them but they grabbed my wrist and, ignoring all my attempts to struggle, pulled me out of the cell.

I tried to see Owen but the angles were all wrong, I could only hear his voice.

"LET HER GO!" He yelled at the figure but they acted as though they didn't even hear him, just continued dragging me, stumbling, down the hall towards an iron door.

"OWEN!" I screamed out one last desperate time and lost all hope when I heard his now distant voice as they closed the door behind them.

"I'LL FIND YOU HAYDEN, I'LL FIND YOU."
