Angeline

The figure stood alone, her face covered with a black veil.

As she stood there, thunder rumbled overhead, and the rain began to fall. The last remnant of the cold winter being washed away.

The two marble gravestones became dotted with raindrops and no one noticed the purebloods tears fall to the ground.

Her fist tightened as grief overtook her yet again and she hardly noticed as strong arms went over her shoulders, pulling her into them and she buried her head into their neck.

"I'm going to kill them. You understand? I'm going to kill them all." Angeline looked up into her brothers' eyes and Coles grip on her tightened.

"I know Angeline. I know." He pulled her gently away from the graves and into the shadows of the forest.

The mansions windows were dark. They wouldn't be returning there. He led her towards the limousine that waited for them, holding the door open for her before sliding in himself and closing the door behind them.

They disappeared into the shadows of the trees.
