You succumb to the effects of the Flare just before reaching the Right Arm. You try to attack Newt and Minho kills you in an act of defence.
Newt:
You survive. You make it all the way to Paradise. But at what cost?
Thomas:
You die the night on the first night of the Grievers' attack. A claw reached into the Homestead and pulled you right out, never to be seen again.
