A/N: I'm a dumb shank. I literally didn't even follow the preference for Gally's part one. I didn't even mention WICKED at all. You had ONE JOB, Emma.

Anyway, -trueaffection suggested a part two, so here it is!

P.S. I used some plot points from The Fever Code. They're not spoilers at all, so I don't know why I'm warning you, but consider yourselves warned anyway.

Gally:

You never saw your sister again after that day. She dropped you off, kissed you goodbye, and vanished into the distance. You'd like to think she survived somehow, against all odds.

It was the only thing that kept you from crying whenever you thought of her.

You lived with Gally and his mother for two months. You soon realised that your sister had taken you there because she knew you were different; you didn't experience a single symptom of the Flare, despite spending so much time with her.

Gally and his mother were the same. He told you about his stepfather- how he'd tried to kill the two of them. How they had to run. How they found a new home. How his mother bumped into your sister on the street one day and they got talking. How she'd offered her home out to you. You came to love them both very much over those two months, and it was only natural that you'd travel with them to the new organisation opening up. One that looked after Munies. You could volunteer for them in exchange for safe living. It was a great deal.

If only you'd known then how committed you would have to become to them. How they'd take your identity in exchange for a new one, better suited to them. How they'd change you. How they'd tear you away from your only friend. How they'd make you forget you'd ever known him or what he and his mother had done for you.

How they'd make you wish you weren't immune.

Minho:

When Insertion Day finally came, you woke up earlier than usual, unable to concentrate on anything other than the day ahead of you.

You were going into the maze. The ultimate test.

You ate breakfast with the others, but those of you who were going in today were quieter than usual. Feeling a lot like test dummies right now. Minho held your hand across the table as you ate, trying to calm himself as much as you. His knee made the table shake as he jiggled his leg in anticipation.

Alby sat next to you, but didn't speak a word the whole time.

Then it was time to go.

You knew they would send you up in a lift, after a few preliminary tests, but that was it. That was just about all you knew. That, and you had to find your way out of this huge maze that'd been built just for you. You hadn't seen the thing yet, but you knew your training would kick in when you got there. You had a great knack for puzzles and an excellent memory. You couldn't wait to conquer this thing.

You sat in one of the medical room cubicles now, swinging your legs over the edge of the bed. A doctor came in and offered you a hot cup of tea to calm your nerves, which you gratefully accepted and began sipping.

Its effect was immediate, but not in the way you anticipated. You'd been drugged. As your vision blurred and your body began to slump back into the bed, you knew something was awry.

As your eyes closed and you drifted into unconsciousness, one thought remained in the back of your mind:

Would you ever see Minho and Alby again?

Newt:

The next time you saw the boy it was a few years later. He'd developed a habit of sneaking in to the girls' dorm to see his sister, who slept a couple of beds down from you. She was lovely, and it made you wish you had siblings of your own. That your parents hadn't been so busy with work to have another child. A little brother. That they'd spent more time with you, even. You'd hardly seen them in the days leading up to the Flares.

Not that you'd seen much of them before that, either.

Still, you admired the way the boy- Newt, as you'd found out was his name- cared for his sister. You wanted someone like him to care about you like that one day. You wanted to feel loved.

Little did you know, this exact wish of yours would be granted when you were sent to live with him in Maze A.

Only you'd never know it was exactly what you'd always needed.

Thomas:

Your exchanges with Thomas and Teresa became more commonplace as the years went on. They'd sneak out to visit you in the night, and you got to know Thomas a lot better. Eventually, he would even visit you without Teresa. You could spend hours together, huddled in an empty utility room you'd found together, laughing at the most ridiculous of things.

Your relationship only became more serious as the situation became more desperate. Talking became cuddling and cuddling became kissing. Meanwhile, the Maze Trials were becoming a more and more imminent reality.

Eventually, the time came. You were headed to Maze B in the morning. He was staying here, in the labs. You didn't know when you'd see him again.

He and Teresa had come to say 'goodbye', and you'd all crawled into the small room you used to call 'The Lair'. Thomas kissed you and held you tight, while Teresa said nothing. She grabbed you and pulled you in for a hug as she turned to leave, whispering in your ear. A promise to you:

"I'll look after him. I'll keep him safe for you."

And after all that happened in the years following, you knew she'd stayed true to her word. She was the reason he stayed alive. You only wished you could've made it far enough to see it.
