A/N: So I finished TFC. Talk about a plot twist. Also I literally sobbed my way through a particular chapter. You know what I'm talking about.
TDC SPOILERS BELOW, but I'll try to keep them tame. Also I'll twist The Fever Code one a bit so that it doesn't actually give anything away about the nature of the book, so don't worry about that, I know it's too early for those spoilers.
But seriously, when is socially acceptable to stop giving TDC warnings?
Also, I updated The New Component for the very few of you who are still reading that. If you haven't read it, please do. The Maze Runner. You'd been kept with the girls from Group B before being sent to the maze, so you'd never actually met him before then. When he welcomed you to the Glade with open arms, you knew you two would get along just fine.

The Scorch Trials. When your group met up with the boys from Group A at the base of the mountains, you took interest in the sassy Asian boy who looked as though he should be dead from all the burns he was suffering through. It turned out that he'd been eyeing you up the whole time, too.

The Death Cure. Youwere admitted to Crank Palace in the same group, and both at the same level of sanity. You appreciated his dark sense of humour and decided to remain friends for as long as you could possibly manage. He was there at a time when you most needed a friend.

The Fever Code. You were captured by WICKED at the same time, but were quickly separated from each other for testing. You didn't see each other again until about three years later, when you spotted him sneaking around the perimeter of the Group B dormitory. By then you'd adopted a different name, choosing to forget the life you'd known before.
