The Excuse You Use to Visit Him at Work

Alby: Since you're a builder, you take any opportunity you can to pass on messages between Alby and Gally. You're the first person to suggest you consult Alby before making a decision, and although the other boys quickly caught on, they let you play your little game.

Gally: Working as a trackhoe in the fields is a great excuse to talk to Gally more often than you need to. You'll pretend some equipment needs fixing, or new tools need to be made. Zart is none the wiser to your scheming, but Newt is definitely on to you. You'd have to be blind not to notice his raised eyebrows every time you suggest taking a break to talk to Gally. You just smile at him; he knows Gally makes you happy, and Newt would be the last person in the world to take happiness away from somebody.

Minho: You are absolutely forbidden from entering the maze, so you have to make do with saying goodbye and gretting Minho at the start and end of every shift. Medjacks usually have pretty noneventful days, so you often finish early enough to see Minho arrive back safely.

Newt: You work with Frypan, so you have every excuse in the book to go see Newt in the fields. You're always more than willing to collect the day's produce to take back to the kitchen. Frypan teases you about it when you get back, asking for the details, but it's all worth it for that extra bit of time with Newt.

Thomas: Since you're the newest Greenie, you often talk to him alone for 'advice', when really you just want an excuse to talk to him. Obviously, you can't use this excuse while he's out in the maze, but it works like a charm any other time of the day or night.
