Ashley's P.O.V.
I had just found out that the gaming competition had been moved from Sunday and to Saturday and at the same time as my dance competition. I was walking towards my dance class when I spotted Erica. She was sitting at Starbucks and spoke with someone on the phone. I couldn't help but to eavesdrop.
"So you managed to get the competition moved to Saturday? Thanks Dave! I knew I could count on you." She said.
I widened my eyes. She got the competition moved? But why?
"Oh sorry Dave, I have another call that I need to take so I'll see you at the competition" She said, hung up and picked up the new call. "Hey Grace! Guess what it worked! That girl is so stupid so she'll pick her friends and dance competition above the gaming contest and then Conor will hate her. He belongs with me and she's stupid for even bothering compete with me for a boy because I always get what I want. I don't even get what he sees in her, she's a ditzy and stupid blondie with this super ugly birthmark right above her lip" She said.
I felt anger building up inside of me and I ran towards the dance studio. As soon as I got there I spotted Zoe and Leah. I walked up to them.
"Hi girls" I said and smiled.
"Hey Ashley! You okay?" They said and smiled back.
"Not really, I'll tell you after practise" I said.
They nodded and we joined the other's in the class to start dancing. When the lesson is over I walked to Starbucks with the girls. We ordered a drink each and sat down.
"What did you want to talk about Ashley?" Leah asked.
"Well you know Erica right? Conor's girlfriend..." I asked.
"Yeah we do" They said and nodded.
"Well on the way here I overheard her talking on the phone and she moved the gaming contest so now it's on the same time as our dance competition..." I said.
"What? She's evil! Why would she even do that?" Zoe said.
"Well she said on the phone to someone that she wanted to get rid of me... I think she doesn't like that me and Conor are so close friends... And she insulted me. I thought she was my friend you know..." I said slowly.
"It sounds like she's jealous..." Leah said.
"Yeah! Because Conor likes you more. Which he should because you're way better than her" Zoe said.
"I don't know... I mean he's still together with her and if he liked me he'd break up with her" I said.
"I think he just don't know it yet and you should show her that she's messing with the wrong girl and get your guy back!" Zoe said.
"But how am I supposed to get to both of the competitions?" I asked.
"Girl use your brain, I know you can be smart when you want to" Zoe said.
"Okay... Maybe we could cause some kind of technical problem so that the dance competition has to pause and then I could run to the gaming competition" I said.
"That's a great idea Ashley!" Leah said.
"You girls has to help me though" I said.
"Of course we will! We're your real friends and we're going to help you to make him realize that he loves you!" Zoe said.
I smiled at them and we continued to chat about lots of things. I'm really happy Conor made me sign up for the dance class because if not I'd never have met Zoe and Leah. I have only known them for about 4 days but I like them alot. They are true friends and now I'm going to fight against Erica because she doesn't deserve Conor. He's way to good for her.
