Chapter 23 - Meet my "Boyfriend"

Conor's P.O.V.

Me and Ashley walked to Starbucks and ordered our drinks. I payed for them both and Ashley noticed her cousin sitting at a table in the corner so we walked over to her.

"Hey Hanna!" Ashley said and smiled widely.

"Hey Ashley!" Hanna said and stood up to hug Ashley.

When they both had finished to hug eachother me and Ashley sat down across her and I put my arm around Ashley's shoulder.

"Hanna this is my boyfriend Conor and Conor this is my cousin Hanna" Ashley said.

"Hey it's so nice to meet you" Hanna said.

"You too" I said and smiled.

"So how long have you two been a couple?" Hanna asked.

"Actually not that long, only a couple of days" Ashley said.

"Yeah, but it feels like it's been way longer than that" I said and winked.

"It does, it's been like half a year since you moved here so" Ashley said and giggled.

"Aww you guys are so cute" Hanna said and smiled.

Ashley and Hanna then started to talk about loads of stuff and catching up while I sat there and listened. I really liked being her fake boyfriend, even though I would much more want it to be her real boyfriend.

"I just got the best idea! You two should have a double date with me and my boyfriend Noah before we leave Redwood" Hanna suddenly said.

"Uhm yeah that would be fun" Ashley said and looked over at me.

"Yeah sure" I said and nodded.

"Awesome! Well I have to go and meet Noah now but I'll call you later Ashley and we can decide the day." Hanna said.

Ashley nodded and we said by to Hanna. When she left I took away my arm from her shoulders.

"Well she really believed that we were dating...." I said.

"Yeah, but unfortunately we have to continue to lie and go on a double date with them..." Ashley said.

"Yeah but that's no problem. I mean at least not for me. I thought we played it off really good" I said.

"Not for me either and yeah we did. Thanks for the help Conor... You're the best!" She said.

"Eh it wasn't anything but you're welcome." I said and shrugged. "Wanna go to the video game store and check if they got some new cool games?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'd like that" She said.

We then stood up and walked out from Starbucks and towards the video game store.

Sorry for a short chapter but it's one of these filler chapters that aren't that excited but is needed because they lead the story on. Anyways I also just wanted to say that this story will probably have 30 chapters so we're getting close to the end now and I promise you there's loads of Cashley moments coming ;) Especially with this future double date, even if they aren't together for real yet, but it might be the start of their relation switch :)
