Gamer's guide to love (A Cashley story)

Chapter 17 - And the winner is...

Ashley's P.O.V.

Me, Erica and the other 8 competers started to play and one by one died in the game until it was just me and Erica left. I kept my eyes on the screen and my task which was to kill Erica's character in the game. I have to admit, she's really good but I'm not giving up. While playing a scene is played inside my head. Me beating Erica and telling Conor about that she moved the competition to get rid of me, and he believed me. He immediately breaks up with her and realizes that he belongs with me. It gives me motivation to try my hardest and believes in myself that I can do this. My team counts on me to win that check so we can go to game con but for me the prize I want is Conor's love. I bit my lip and focused, I'm about to do something that just one person has successed with before, Conor. My character ran towards Erica's and then something magical happend. I did Conor's special attack and actually successed. Erica's character flies up in the air and explodes. On the screen it said: LadyRooster42 wins! The audience cheered and clapped their hands and I smiled widely. I looked over at Erica who are furious.

"You messed with the wrong girl!" I said and turned around to face the audience. I spotted Conor and he smiled hugely at me. I smiled back and the host comes up to me.

"That was amazing! And you successed with the impossible attack! Congratulations!" He said.

"Thanks and yeah apparently I did. I just went for it and risked it all with trying to do that" I said.

"Now the only other person that has successed with that attack is the one and only KidFury who you know am I right?" He said.

"Yeah, we're friends and in the same team" I said.

The host then walked over to Conor in the audience.

"So KidFury, did you teach her how to do the attack or?" He asked.

"No I haven't. Only the best and smartest gamers can figure out how to do it and Ashley is one hell of a good gamer. I'm glad to have her in my team and I've always thought she's the best girl gamer and now it's finally official!" Conor said and smiled.

I smiled widely and got eye contact with Conor. My heart skipped a beat when he said that he always thought I was the best girl gamer and not Erica. The host then returned to me on the stage and handed me the big check and some photographers took some pictures of me and the host.

"I've had enough of this!" A girl with dark pink hair that ended at her shoulders shouted as she stood up in the audience with a controller in her hand.

Whaat? Who's that girl and what is she talking about? You'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out. I promise you won't see it coming, it's a huge plot twist that I really like ;)

Anyways hi! I know it's been a few days since I updated and I'm really sorry. Basically I had two essays in school that I had to finish by last thursday and then from friday I've been visiting London which was super fun so I've been quite busy. Now I'm on the airplane back to Sweden though so the updating will be better again! Hope you liked the chapter and are excited for the next one :)
