Conor's P.O.V.
It was now thursday and the school day went slowly. It was now lunch and me and the others had just walked out from the cafeteria. All of a sudden Ashley noticed a poster.
"Omg look! There will be a dance tomorrow" She said excitedly.
"Oh, then I have to ask Stacey to be my date" Wendell said confidently.
"For the last time Wendell, she doesn't like you. She has said no to every dance you've asked her to and plus I think she likes Eric" Ashley said.
"One day she will be mine!" Wendell said and walked away.
"I really want to ask Meredith... But I don't think I'll dare" Franklin said.
"You should try Franklin, I mean, you two are perfect match because she's nerdy like you" Ashley said.
"Yeah, she'd definiatly like you" I said.
"Okay, I'll go and ask her" Franklin said and walked away as well.
It was then only me and Ashley left.
"So uhm... are you going with anyone?" I asked Ashley.
"Well since I'm a girl so I can't really ask someone, but I guess I'll go alone since no one as ever asked me before so" She said sadly and shrugged.
"If you want... I mean... do you want to go to the dance with me?" I asked nervously.
"That's really nice of you Conor. I'd like that really much. You're truly a great friend" She said and smiled.
"Then I'll pick you up tomorrow at 7 pm" I said.
Ashley nodded and then walked off to find her friends Zoe and Leah. Well that was it, I thought for myself. I asked her but didn't dared to say that I wanted it to be a real date and now we're going as friends. You're an idiot Conor! Oh well, I'm going to tell how I feel tomorrow at the dance instead, I have to.
