Chapter 7 - Ashley's date with Dylan

Conor's P.O.V.

It was now friday and tonight Ashley were going out with Dylan. School was already over and I sat in my couch in the basement and tried to game but all I could think about was Ashley's date. I knew Dylan was bad news and Ashley deserves way better. I looked at the clock, in half an hour she'll be at Billy's to meet that jerk. I know she said she could take care of herself and I know she can because she's not like any other girl I've met but I wanted to be there in case anything happened. I turned of the tv, took on a hoodie and left my house. 20 minutes later I arrived at Billy's.

"Hey Conor! What are you doing here? And will the other's be here as well?" Billy said as I walked in.

"Hey Billy. The other's won't come or well Ashley will but with someone else. You see she's going to go out with this guy who is a huge asshole and I don't get why. Like a week ago she hated him and said she'd never go out with someone like him. I want to sit in the corner and watch them just in case something bad happens" I said.

"Oh... You really care about her don't you. I have this feeling that the reason you're being here is because your jealous. Jealous that your not the only boy she has eyes for" Billy said and smirked.

"Of course I care about her she's my best friend. And I'm not jealous, I have a girlfriend and Ashley and I are just friends. There's nothing between us and she'd never like me in that way" I said and bit my lip.

"Never say never boy" Billy said and went into the kitchen.

I took a seat at a table in the corner and put my hood up. Five minutes later Ashley and Dylan
walked inside and my eyes grew wide. Ashley was wearing a black crop top, a black/white stripes skirt and black heeled ankle boots. She looked so beautiful and I couldn't help but stare. They sat down a few tables away from me and Billy walked up and took their orders. I took a sip on my coke as I continued to watch them talk. Ashley smiled and laughed so much and I couldn't help but feel something I've never felt before. I mean I wanted her to be happy but seeing her with another guy like that didn't felt right, especially since it was with Dylan. I thought about what Billy said, I can't be jealous right? I only like Ashley as a friend. After watching them for almost an hour I couldn't stand being in there anymore so I walked out without them noticing me. I decided to go and visit Erica at her hotel. As I had been with her there earlier this week I knew which floor and room she was staying in. I went into the elevator and took it to the 7th floor. I then walked up to her door and knocked.

"Hi babe, I did not knew you were coming" She said and hugged me.

"Hey, I thought I'd surprise you." I said and hugged her back.

"Well it worked, wanna come in? We could watch a movie or something if you want?" She asked.

"Sure, that'd be fun" I said and walked into her room.

I spent the rest of the evening watching some romantic movie with Erica all cuddled up to me but I couldn't stop thinking about Ashley and Dylan.
