Chapter 6
Katie's PoV
Liv didn't bother us after that. While me and Caleb, whenever we fight, he teases me even more.
He grabbed a piece of my food and ate it.
"Did you even ask?" I said coldly.
"Hey Katie, can I have a piece? Whoops, I ate one." He smiled.
"You ugly person." I mumbled.
"But you still love me." He winked.
"Shut up, I don't."
" 'Do you really like me?' 'I don't wanna talk about it.' 'Pleasee? I won't get mad!' 'Yes, I do.'" he reenacted.
"Well fine."
He laughed. If I didn't like this guy I would punch him straight in the face.
"But you do like me so you can't do that." He said, reading my mind.
I grabbed my things and quickly ran out of the cafeteria.
IS HE A MIND READER?!
I ran to my locker and placed about 4 books inside.
"KATIE!" He yelled while running.
I was going to walk to class but I looked at him and he stopped. Our lips were inches from being connected.
He stared into my eyes, while I did the same. The same brown eyes that I was looking for, for years.
He smiled.
I felt my face reddened. He slowly walked backwards and I felt relieved.
I saw Liv walking towards me, smoke coming out of her ears. Well not literally, she was so freaking mad she could kill a whole bunch of people.
"WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU GUYS DOING?! MAKING OUT?!" oh there she goes.
She slapped me, as always, but now it was harder than any of the slaps she gave me.
I pulled Caleb and he stood beside me.
"Well he's my boyfriend after all." I smiled.
Things you need to know # 1:
Don't ever say that without him knowing what your plan is.
He looked at me confused. "Just go with the flow." I whispered.
"WHAT?!" She screamed.
Caleb held my hand and said, "Yes, we're together."
"No, this isn't true."
Tears started to form in her eyes and she ran away. I, on the other hand, was shocked.
He stood in front of me so that we're facing each other.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
I nodded, but I felt my left cheek burning.
"Oh shoot" He whispered,I don't even know what's happening.
He pulled me to the clinic and called a nurse.
"Wait why are we here?"I asked.
The nurse gave Caleb an ice pack, and he placed it on my cheek.
"Your cheek is really red because of the slap."
I removed the ice pack he was holding.
"It's fine. I'm used to those slaps Liv give me."
"No." He,again, placed the ice pack on my cheek.
Well I had no choice but to let him. After a moment of awkward silence, I spoke.
"Go to class, leave me here." I mumbled, looking at the clock.
"No. I'm not going. I'm staying with you."
"Why?"
"I can't leave you."
"Yeeeeee!" I heard someone squeal. I realized it was the nurse.
I blushed hard, and smiled.

After being in the clinic for another 7 minutes, we both went to class.
"Okay so I have an- Caleb, Katie. Why are you late?"
"I'm sorry, But me and Katie went to the clinic."
"Alrighty then, you may take your seat."
We both did, and we were separated. To be honest, I sometimes hate this subject but oh well.
"Okay, class, I have an announcement. We're going to have a party. I will assign the partners, so stand up when I call your name."
So she started pairing the partners, until...
"Jacob and Liv."
YES!
"Caleb and Katie."
YE-- WAIT WHAT?!
"IT ISN'T FAIR! I SHOULD BE THE PARTNER OF CALEB!" Liv stood up.
"I'm sorry, Liv, but I picked them. And besides, I ship those two." The teacher said.
Liv sat down angrily and I placed my head on my desk.
"YIEEEEEEEEEEE!" the whole class said except for Liv.
I blushed real hard. Why did I even picked this school?!
"Katie.." Caleb whispered. The whole classroom screamed.
"What?" I mumbled. Still, they were screaming.
"You okay?" He asked. Of course I'm not! I'm looking like a tomato because I'm red!
He laughed, and I realized why: I said that out loud. And the whole class heard.
When I put my head up, some told me things like:
"I'LL BE THE BRIDESMAID WHEN YOU GUYS GET MARRIED!"
"INVITE ME TO YOUR WEDDING!"
"IM GONNA BE THE GODMOTHER OF THE CHILD!" blah blah blah. I blushed even more.
"Okay class, settle down. You guys are making Katie red!"
OH MY GOSH. WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS?
