Demi's POV
"Demi I ca" Lexie past out, Aww poor baby. I got out of the car and lifted her up. I was surprised she was very light, alittle too light.
She was light enough that I could Carry her in one arm and my bag of groceries in the other. I quickly brought her in before the paps show up I don't feel like them asking me who Lexie is. She Doesn't need the drama right now. I quickly brought Lexie in and set her down on my bed and put her in a sleeping position. I had to clean the blood off her face. I quickly got a sponge and some band aides to gently washed her face. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps. When I was done cleaning up Lexie's face I leaned and gave her a kiss on the forehead and whispered "I love you baby girl." Lexie's eyes fluttered open and she stared at me and smiled. "Hi baby girl". I said as a stroked her long alburn hair. "Lexie we've got to talk about this."
"Ok." She said while sitting up.
"Lexie what happened to you?" Lexie stroked her hair behind her ears. My eyes immediately darted to her wrist. I saw so many pink lines, I think she saw me staring because she hid her arm under the blanket. "Lexie honey please tell me." I grabbed her hands and gave her puppy dog eyes. "I-I-I'm that G-girl who we-went m-missing 3 m-months a-ag-ago." My eyes widened. "THAT'S YOU THEY THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" I screamed. Lexie nodded and put her head down. I put my finger under her chin and lifted her head. "It's ok honey there's no need to be upset, can you please tell me what happened what did he do to you?"
H-he k-killed my parent and I w-wont ever g-get them b-back." She burst into tears and she was screaming out. "W-WHY ME?!" I then quickly rushed to Lexie's side. Pulling her into my lap I started whispering In her ear. "Shhh shh it's ok baby just breath." I started humming skyscraper in her ear and rubbing tiny circles on her back in till her breathing went back to normal. "I just have one more question for you baby." I quietly said.
"Y-yeah?"
"Do you have any other family I can call and tell them that you safe?" Lexie burst into heavy sobs.
"N-no" she whimpered. "Your not gonna stick me In Foster care are you?" She looked up into my eyes, and her broken face nearly shattered my heart I Wiped the tears off her face and gave her a warm smile. "No baby your safe with me now go get some sleep and we can figure this out tomorrow." Lexie laid back down and I got in bed next to her. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close to me I stayed there in till I was sure she was asleep. When Lexie was asleep I got my phone to go call my mom.
"Hi mama"in quietly said
"Hey Demi is everything alright?" She asked curiously.
"Yes mom I just h-have to ask your opinion."
"Ok sweetie ask away"
"Well that girl who went missing 3 mounts ago Lexie Hart well I found her."
"Sweetie that's great! What are you going to do now?"
"Well she dosent have any family left, and I already feel very connected to her and I was thinking of-" my mom cut me off.
"ADOPTING HER!? Sweetie that's a good idea!" My mom cheered.
"How'd you know what I was going to say?" I asked kinda creeped out.
"It's a mom thing" she giggled.
"Haha very funny well I gotta go mom I love you lots."
"I love you to sweetheart tell me how she reacts."
"Ok I will bye" now I just have to wait for Lexie to wake up so I can ask her. I really hope she says yes because she's like my little sister and I really feel connected with her. Ok I thought to myself I need to get some sleep its late. I cuddled up to Lexie and whispered. "I love you baby girl." I then Drifted into a deep peaceful sleep.
