Demi's POV
3 weeks later
Im gonna surprise my family by bringing Lexie down to Texas for them to meet her. I really hope that they like her because she deserves a family that will love you unconditionally no matter what. Me and Lexie are packing our stuff now, are flight is in 2 hours. Were going to leave early so if we get stuck in traffic we won't miss are flight. I'm also really excited for Lexie to meet maddie because they've been texting a lot lately and Lexie seems to really like her. Lexie's already done packing man she's fast. Maybe I should have her pack for me.
____On the plane___
Lexie's POV
We're almost in Texas now and I'm feeling mixed emotions about this. I've never really had a big family before like I used to have a mom and dad but that's the only family I've ever had. I do have an aunt but she lives in England and I haven't seen her since I was 6. I just hope that they love me no matter what and that we get along.
The plane is landing now. Me and Demi got out of are seats and made are way out of the plane. The paps were outside all I could see was flashing lights. I grabbed onto Demi's arm and held on as if my life depended on it. Max led me and Demi into the car and slammed the door shut. Max rushed back into the car and sped off before people got in the way of the car.
"How long is the drive?" I asked Demi.
"5 minutes." Demi said. I felt butterfly's in my stomach.
"You ok baby girl?"
"Yeah just a bit.. Nervous." Demi pulls me Into a hug.
"You have nothing to be afraid of Lexie. I always see you and maddie texting she already loves you, and Dallas I've told her so much about you and she's eager to meet you. and Eddie and Diana they love everyone and you're family now of coarse they love you."
Right when Demi was done talking we pulled up into a drive way which I'm Guessing is the family's house. I put on a smile and followed Demi to the door. Demi's little speech made me feel a lot better. I hope that all she just said is true.
"DEMI!!" Maddie yelled as she practically tackled her to the ground.
"Hey baby girl." Demi hugged her back. Maddie turned around and looked at me. I was gonna speak but maddie pulled me Into a bone crushing hug.
"Welcome to the family Lexie, I already know that we're a gonna love you." Maddie said.
"You see I told you." Demi whispered in my ear.
"Hi sweetheart I'm Diana." she smiled sweetly.
"I know." I shyly said.
"Awe!" Diana gave me a hug.
"Your adorable." she said.
"Wait is she a Lovatic?" Dallas whispered.
"Yes jealous?" Demi said. Dallas laughed at Demi's sarcastic remark.
" Well let me properly introduce myself." Dallas said. Dallas walked over to me and hugged me.
"Welcome to the family." Dallas said.
"Where's Eddie?" Demi asked.
"Oh he ran out to pick up the pizza we ordered. He'll be back shortly.
"Alright we'll me and Lexie are gonna go and unpack upstairs ok?"
"Yeah that's alright we'll call you we. The foods here."
Me and Demi went upstairs and unpacked. we were staying in her old room. There were still old posters hanging on the wall. And old family photos on her end tables. I think it's adorable how her family kept her room the same.
"Hey dem? can me, you, Dallas and maddie hang out later?"
"Yeah that would be fun! but Dallas might have to leave soon for work but we'll make the most out of it."
"Ok." I smiled.
"DEMi LEXIE DINNER!"
Me and Demi jumped off of her bed and made are way down stairs to be greeted my Eddie.
"Hi Lexie I'm Eddie." Eddie hugged me and I instantly tensed up. Demi have me a reassuring look and I calmed down.
"It's nice to meet you." I said.
"Let's eat!" Diana yelled.
