11. // Apologies and revelations. //

I woke up with a smile on my face, like they do in the movies....Just kidding, I woke up with a groan, and then fell off the bed.

I looked at the time, Crap! I was late! I had to be at school in the next twenty minutes.

I rushed to the bathroom and showered, grabbed some skinny jeans and a crop top and a pair of converse.

I grabbed my bag and rushed in the door of my bedroom, snatching a granola bar from the kitchen counter.

I sat in my car, and hurriedly put my hair up in a messy bun, and started driving.

I reached school in exactly seven minutes, and slid my car into a free parking space. I ran out of the parking  and entered the classroom as fast as my legs would carry me.

I slipped into my seat just as the teacher entered the class.

I was sitting next to Alex, whom I had chemistry with.

'Hey you. I missed you yesterday. ' he said, affectionately.
I lightly tapped his head, and said 'You weren't at school yesterday, remember?',he seemed a little uncomfortable when I said this, but he hid it well. 'Erm.. Yeah, I was sick', he said. I looked at him curiously, but he said no more. Shrugging, I looked at the teacher and tried to pay attention.

An hour later, the bell rang, and we thankfully got out of our seats, and made our way towards our next class. Alex decides to drop me off. 'So...You haven't been hanging out with Sarah and Tiana lately,have you? I've not seen you with them in ages. What's up? '

I sighed. 'Remember, I told you about the fight we had. I'm really not ready to apologize to them yet.'
'But don't you think it's a little childish of you to do that? I mean, this will last forever this way. None of you will apologize to each other, and this will get bigger, kind of like what happened to you and Valerie. '

I stopped walking and stared at him. I hadn't thought about Valerie and I in ages.
I ignored the thought and continued walking. 'You have to listen to me. You know I'm making sense. You and I both know that you can't live without them. You're just making it worse for yourself, and them. They miss you. I know. I've been speaking to Sarah lately, and she told me. You guys need each other, so stop being idiots and talk to each other.', he said and patted my back.

By now, we had reached the classroom, and Alex enters the class next to mine. I sat down in my usual seat, and thought about what Alex had said to me. I finally realized that he was right. I had to apologize to Sarah and T. I couldn't live without thier jokes and madness. They made me complete.

I waited impatiently for lunch, and finally, when the bell rang, I jumped out of my seat and sprinted to my locker. I collected what I needed and raced to the cafeteria. I wanted to catch Sarah and Tiana before they entered the cafeteria.

My experiences I'm there had not been very good, if you know what I mean, and I was not taking my chances again. I saw them walk together towards the doors.

The stopped when they saw me, and looked at me questioningly. I smiled sheepishly and them, and held up my basketball. 'Wanna play? ' I asked them, and threw the ball towards Tiana. She caught it perfectly. I really needed to talk to coach about getting her into the team.
