13.// Match-ups//

'Gab! Where were you? I've been looking for you everywhere!', Noah said. His hair was ruffled, and he looked frustrated.

'Listen, it's my birthday tomorrow, and Valerie is planning a party for me tonight, which will last the whole night. It's gonna be a proper party, and I can't wait! ' he said sarcastically.

'Chill man, it's just a party, what can go wrong? She's planning it for you. Don't overreact. ', I said.

'Well, sorry if you think I'm overreacting, but the last time Valerie planned a party, the cops almost arrested us. I don't want that to happen, I too young to go to jail. '

I didn't know whether to laugh or be serious.

'That's why I'm telling you, you have to be there. Even though I don't like you and my sister fighting, you help me get my mind off things. ', he told me.

I looked at him.
I said, ' I don't know Noah, I don't like parties very much, I've had bad experiences every time. I don't want to repeat history. '

'Please Gab. For me. Bring your friends along too, I don't mind, just be there when I get too tired of everything and want to get away from the crowd. Please. ' he looked at me, his eyes pleading. I sighed.

I opened the door to my room, and Tiana burst in and jumped on my bed. She started bouncing and shouting, 'Softie, softie! '

Sarah and I exchanged glances.
'Hurry up girls, we have a party to go to! ' I said.
'I don't wanna! I don't like parties! ' Sarah whined.

'Shut up, you owe me one, besides Leo will be there. And so will Blake.'
I said, and smirked at Tiana. She blushed and threw a pillow at me.

We picked out our outfits, and we first pushed Tiana into my walk in closet.

She emerged wearing a pair of skinny jeans, with a loose crop top, that said 'Dope' on it. She straightened her hair, and braided one section, pinning it behind her ear. She paired her outfit together with blue ballet flats.

Then it was Sarah's turn, she put on a
pair of high-waisted white shorts, and a white halter top, with her black leather jacket and curled her hair into lose curls that fell gently on her shoulders. She wore her favorite converse.

Then it was my chance. I decided to wear a dress, something that rarely happens. It was metallic silver, and ended way above my knees. I wore my favourite charm bracelet, and left my hair as it was. For footwear, I put on some simple silver flats.

Then, all three of us grabbed our bags, spritzed on some Chanel perfume, and we were ready to leave. I had made Sarah and Tiana promise me that they wouldn't let me drink even a tiny drop of anything that had alcohol. I didn't want to get into any more fights with anyone.

I was the designated driver for the night, and we quickly reached the venue, i.e. his house.
It was as big as the freaking White House!

We entered the house, and I instantly spotted Noah. I went over to him and gave him a hug.

'I'm here. ' I said and looked at him. He looked quite good. He wore a black shirt, with a red polo tie, and his hair was ruffled as usual.

'My My, someone looks good! ' I said.

'Thank god you came. I'm already getting fed up! ' , he whined
'Just enjoy yourself. It's gonna be alright. ' I said.

It's funny, he should have been saying these things to me, but it's the opposite. I then realized that I had lost Sarah and Tiana in the huge crowd.

I had a plan in mind, and Sarah was in it too. I had to put it to action in about ten minutes.

I thought that they would be in the only room that wasn't crowded - the kitchen. I walked towards the kitchen and sure enough, there they were.

I walked to them and hit them on thier bottoms, 'Hey! No touchie! Delicate stuff Ya know!, Tiana yelled over the loud music, rubbing her behind.

'I'm sure your reaction would have been different if it was Blake who did it... ', I muttered, looking at her to see if she hears what I said, apparently, she had because she gave me a look that said, 'shut up or else you'll walk home with one leg turned backwards.'

I shuddered and glanced at Sarah, this was our cue to put our plan to action.

I took Tiana aside, told her that I needed to tell her something important. And Sarah could not know, she looked confused, so I told her to meet me in the lawn outside the house in five minutes. She simply nodded.

I gave Sarah a wink and walked out.
I hope Sarah was doing g her part of the plan too, otherwise...

As I walked out, I saw Sarah talking to him, and I smiled to myself. This was gonna be good.

I walked outside and crouched behind a bush . Soon, Sarah joined me. We both looked through the leaves, and waited.

We saw Tiana walk out and look around five minutes later, she sat down on the grass, and started playing with her phone.

Behind her, the silhouette of Blake walked closer, and sat down next to her. Tiana turned and said, 'Holy! Don't ever do that again. What are you doing here? I thought Gab wanted to tell me something. '

'That's exactly what I wanted to ask you, Sarah told me to meet her here , and I don't know why. ' Blake said, confused.

They both elapsed into silence, and just sat there awkwardly.
'Do it, Do it, Do it ', I muttered under my breath and crossed my fingers.

'Umm, Tiana, can I ask you something? ' Blake asked her, running his fingers through his hair.
'Sure Blakey, anything. ', Tiana said, tilting her head to one side.
'Will you be my girlfriend? I mean, if you don't mind? '

Tiana's face had a shocked expression on it, and maybe Blake noticed it and got worried, and said in a hurry, 'Sorry I even asked, I think I'm going a little fast, and maybe I should wait a while, and see how good we are as friends, I'm really sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I'm such a douchb-'
Tiana shut him up by inching closer to him. Closer... Closer, she kept on moving until thier noses were touching.
He looked like a kid who had seen Santa Claus up close for the first time.

She then breathed softly and said in a low voice, 'Only if you feed me ice-cream every day. '
She then proceeded to walk away, then turned and said, 'Tomorrow evening, pick me up at 7, it's a date. '

She left him standing there stunned, looking like a lost puppy.

Sarah and I couldn't do anything exept look at each other, flabbergasted. This was the Tiana who blushed every time we take Blake's name, the Tiana who never did anything upon instance.
'Finally, she learnt something good from me, about time. ', I thought aloud. I received a dirty look from Sarah in return.

I'd better run now...
