Chapter 7

Yoshi POV

We all run over to the limp carcass in the softly swaying water.

DK's body is tangled up in pool rope, bloody and lifeless.

"Okay, who did this? I'm sick and tired of these games," I scold.

"I bet it was big nose over there," Wario points to Birdo.

"How could I kill D.K when I've been in the same room with you guys since Yoshi and I found you?" Birdo snorted.

"She has a point," Waluigi said.

"Shut you're mouth," Wario kicks Waluigi in the groin.

"Ow ow ow ow ow" Waluigi yelps.

"Guys! We need to focus on staying together and finding the killer," I say.

"The only thing we know is that they want something," Daisy said.

"And that is..?" Mario questions.

"We don't know," Peach says.

"UGHH I give up! There's no way out of this! We're all gonna die!" Wario whines.

"We can't lose hope, not now. We need to avenge our friends' lives. We will NOT go down without a fight," Luigi says determined.

"Luigi's right guys. Let's start searching. I'm not dying tonight," Mario says.

The group huddles together and then leaves the room to find the murderer...

Bowser POV

Everyone's all close and stuff which isn't my thing, so I inch out of the group.

"Bowser, get back in here," Daisy hisses.

"We need to stay together," Rosalina says.

"I'm uh claustrophobic.. yeah," I stutter.

"Don't be shy! We're all family here," Peach says cheerfully.

"Why are we even talking about this," Wario shakes his head.

Something's trying to leak its way into my thoughts but I can't put it together..

Family.

Shy.

Oh no.

"GUYS, BOO'S GONE!!" I yell.

Everyone stops and looks of horror start to appear on everyone's faces.

"Oh no.." Rosalina looks down.

"Hey buddy, I'm really sorry," Mario puts his hand on Bowser's shoulder.

"Even though he scared me 24/7 , I'll miss the little guy," Luigi sadly says.

"I'm not dead!" Boo exclaims.

"AHHHHHH," everyone jumps up and screams.

"Don't do that Boo!" I say.

"Sorry guys.. I kind of blend in with darkness," Boo says shyly.

Phew that was close.

Luigi POV

We finish going through all the activity rooms and then into the kitchen.

"It's really cold in here," Yoshi shivers.

"Move over suction cup," Wario grumbles.

"You're the fat one. You need to move over," Birdo smirks.

"I'M NOT FAT. I'M JUST SHORT," Wario yells.

"Not this again," I roll my eyes.

"Um if you weigh like 600 pounds when your only 5'2, I'm pretty sure that means your overweight," Birdo snickers.

"THAT'S IT. I'M GONNA KICK YOUR-"

"Shh guys, did you hear that?" Peach quiets them.

Everyone goes silent and listens.

"I don't hear anything," Waluigi says.

"Wait hold on," Rosalina whispers.

Click.
Clack.
Click.
Clack.

"What is that?" Daisy asks.

"It's coming from over there," Peach points to the main entry room.

We all inch back together and slowly move through the kitchen to the other room.

I look around but don't see anything. I don't even hear that sound anymore.

Just then the power comes back on.

"Ack my eyes!" Wario grimaces.

After we're over the lighting change, we all look up to second floor balcony.

"Did you miss me?"

Oh no.

Short chapter but finally to revealing the murderer >:) Chapter 8 will be next!!
