16: A Teasing Moment with Dashed

"Where are we going?" I asked incredulously as my eyes remained fixed on the road.

Hindi ko alam kung saang parte na kami ng Manila ngayon pero I swear, sobrang ganda rito sa dinaraanan namin! The cobblestone streets, the rustic mansions, the lofty trees, and the perfect shape of the moon!

This is beyond perfect, so I took out my iPhone from my bag and unhesitatingly captured the moment.

"Why don't you take a picture of me instead? I'm way more picture-perfect than that moon," Dashed muttered, flashing his killer smile.

I frowned at him and raised a brow. "Oh, really?" I aimed my camera at him, and he was right, his proud nose caught my attention. His red lips. His perfect set of eyes. Everything. "Smile." I instructed, and he did.

Agad akong pumunta sa photos ko to see my shots. They were perfect!

And so, an idea suddenly popped into my mind. In-open ko agad ang aking cellular data.  I glanced at him first before tapping my Instagram app and immediately look for the plus button. I rarely open my account, so I didn't realize that my followers had increased.

Anyway, I uploaded the picture of the moon from earlier and his picture. I wrote a caption: "Perfections" with a heart-shaped emoji.

"What are you doing?" he asked curiously nang makitang focus na focus ang mga mata ko sa cellphone ko.

Gosh. I just couldn't believe na right after pa lang na ma-share ng post ko, I already had hundreds of likes and comments!

"I uploaded your pic on Insta,"  I said honestly and showed him my post.  Natawa lang s'ya sa ginawa ko. "Last time I checked, hundreds pa lang naman mga followers ko pero ngayon... it's already in the five figures." my eyes twinkled in amusement

"Well, that's what you get for being in a relationship with Dashed..." he teased, wiggling his eyebrows and blinking an eye.

Damn.

"You're such a big deal in the eyes of everyone," bahagya akong napanguso at tinignan s'ya gamit ang nagtataka kong mga mata. "But we're all just ordinary people. Pare-parehong mababaho 'yung utot at tae, diba?" after kong sabihin 'yon, it was as if that was his cue para humalagapak nang pagkalakas-lakas. He even slammed on the steering wheel kaya tumunog iyon nang paulit-ulit.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. We were in the middle of the road pa kaya! Tapos hindi naman kanya itong daan pero kung makabusina siya, para siyang hari!

Besides, ano bang nakakatawa d'on sa sinabi ko?

"You are so cute, baby," pigil-hiningang sabi niya out of the blue.

Imbis na matuwa, nainis pa ako. Seriously. Did he just compare me to a dog?!

Ewan ko pero sa lahat ng mga adjectives, pinaka-ayaw ko talagang compliment ay ang cute. It's like being compared to an animal.

"Quit pouting," dagdag pa niya.

I scowled. "Why?"

"Parang inaakit mo ako."

What?! Where the hell did he get that idea?!

"Hey! No, I'm not!" I quickly denied. "Ang kapal mo to even think that way, ah!" I looked away when he stepped on the brake.

Mabilis na lumipat ang tingin ko sa harapan,  may traffic light pala at umiilaw ang kulay pula roon.

"Your lips are tinged with red. You can't blame me if I tell you, I want to kiss them." he said provocatively, spawning my cheeks to flush.

What the...

"Try it and you'll surely meet my hermanos' punch." I shot him daggers.

"Not scared, though," he temporarily let go of the steering wheel and raised his arm, showing me his bulging muscles.

"Ang hambog!" I snorted.

"You want to touch it?" nguso n'ya sa kanyang braso.

Sinulyapan ko ulit iyong traffic light at nakita kong kulay green na 'yon. I heard a beeping sounds from behind pero halatang wala pa siyang balak na tumulak paalis. "Huy! Nakago-sign na!"

"Just one touch, baby."

Nagsunod-sunod ang busina ng mga sasakyan dahil sa amin. Mukhang naiirita na 'yong mga drivers pero s'ya, paeasy-easy lang dito.

"The heck are you saying, Dashed?!" I asked with a frustrated expression.

He pointed to his muscle, "Touch it."

"W-why— why would I even do that?!"

"Because I want you to... and it's an order from your boyfriend," he winked at me. "C'mon, baby. Just one touch, and then we'll go."

Ughhhh! Ano bang tumatakbo sa utak niya?!

Tumingin ako sa side mirror ng kanyang Lamborghini. Iyong mga ulo ng mga tao, nakalabas na mula sa bintana ng kani-kanilang mga sasakyan and they seemed to be cursing at us.

Napapikit ako. Okay, Bronwyn.

Just one touch.

Dahan-dahan kong itinaas ang kamay ko at hinaplos 'yong kanyang braso. I felt it flex! Oh, God. Why it is so hard?

I was about to give it another touch when he caught my hand. "Oops. That's enough," nakita ko ang pamumungay ng kanyang mga mata kaya napalunok ako. "May nagagalit."

My forehead creased. This flirting bastard!
