"Mommy... kami na po ni Dashed." nahihiya kong sabi habang umiiwas na makipagtitigan sa mga mata niya.

I slightly turned my face away from my laptop screen. But I saw Mommy smile and her grin reaching her ears! Para bang sa ngiti niyang iyon ay tinutukso niya ako!

"You're a bit late, sweetie. Dashed already mentioned that to me earlier," she said, causing my eyes to widen. Really? "Come on. Your boyfriend and I already had this mom-and-son talk. Most likely, he'll update me promptly about the improvements in your relationship."

"So... how did you react, My?" I bit my lip, anticipating her answer.

"Ano ba 'yong naging reaksyon mo noong naging kayo na?"

"Masaya po... masayang-masaya." I smiled as I recalled that moment. It was one of the most unforgettable memories I ever had!

"My reaction was the same then," she smiled warmly at me. "Alam mo, anak, kapag naging ina ka na, kung ano ang nararamdaman ng anak mo, ganun na din iyong mararamdaman mo... So if you're happy, doble ang nararamdamang saya ko ngayon."

I felt my heart melt because of her warm words.

"Thank you so much, My! I love you!"

"I love you too, sweetie. Always remember that we will always be here for you, alright?" I nodded at Mommy while trying to hold back my tears. I'm just so blessed to have them in my life. I couldn't ask for more. This is more than enough. "And oh, bago ko makalimutang sabihin, your hermanos had a man-to-man talk with Dashed earlier. Seems like... they are on good terms now, huh?"

"I'm pretty sure they threatened Dashed, right?" I chuckled. I know my brothers, though. They will surely do that thing.

Mommy gave a small shrug. "I don't know, sweetie. Pero ang importante, okay na sila sa relasyon niyong dalawa, right?"

Tumango ako sa kanya bilang pagsang-ayon.

"My, kinakabahan po ako ngayon..."

I bit my lower lip again as I remembered the words Dashed said to me when we talked on the phone earlier.

"You're going to meet my parents, baby... I'm going to introduce you to them as my official girlfriend. Is that okay with you?"

Damn it. Of course, I had no choice but to agree!

"Why?" Mommy asked, her brows furrowed.

"I'm going to have dinner with Dashed's whole family po. Sa bahay po nila mismo."

"I swear to you, sweetie. That would be one of your best days ever! Ang sarap kaya sa pakiramdam ng ganoon," then she gave me another smile, but this time, it was different. It was like she was encouraging me. At alam kong kailangan na kailangan ko iyon ngayon. "Here's my little advice to you as a mother... Just be yourself. Show who you are. Be genuine. Because that way, you'll know for sure that they'll accept you completely. Whoever you are, whatever you are."

Napangiti ako at tumango sa kanya.

After video chatting with Mommy, I decided to open my Facebook account again to see what's going on with my newsfeed. Bumungad na naman sa akin ang relationship status na request ni Dashed!

Hindi lang 'yon dahil may mga posts pa siya sa timeline ko!

Ngayon ko lang din napansin na marami palang nagmention sa akin doon at sinasabing ang swerte ko raw. Then I also noticed that Mommy reacted to that picture. She had a heart reaction, while my three hermano hit the angry one! Ugh! Ang lakas talaga ng trip nila!

But anyway. I posted on Dashed's timeline as a response to his posts. Buti na lang talaga at naisipan kong mag-online!
