Chapter 11: Unfeigned Friend forever........

Manik POV
First time like first time I had dared to let my past flow out of my lips!! I felt relieved! The most surprising part was she was shedding tears! Though her face was expressionless flowing with tears but her eyes held lot more!

Unknowingly she had side hugged me and this again for the first time gave me the much needed peace! But what does she think? Will she leave me? No she's not the one! But still I want to hear it from her!

After a while she composed herself, wiped her tears and said “I really don't know how to console but all I can say is thank-you and sorry! Sorry is for bit being able to do anything make you feel better and thank-you that you could trust me enough to tell me this!” she didn't even hit the point is leaving me instead she is thanking me!

“You really don't have to say that but I'd you genuinely feel it then reciprocate my trust on you and when you feel like sharing your pain I'm all ears to you!” i said wiping her left over tears! She seemed to be taken aback as she must have not guessed I could read her eyes but yes her pain was never left unfolded to me from the day 1!!

We sat there in the same posture! It felt right! I was in equanimity! “I am not the actual daughter of Dad!” she said in a low tone and I gasped! “My real father had divorced my mom when I was in her womb! My this dad is my step-father!”

This was not expected! I mean the amount of love Raghav dad's eyes hold for Nandini can never tell that he is not real father! But how that can be a reason for her sadness infact that is a criterion to be proud & overwhelmed! My doubts were cleared when Nandini continued!

Flashback
I had my friends Navya, Maddy Ummmm Madhyam, and Aryaman who were the second most important reason for my smile! Navya was my classmate! Madhyam was in his first year of MD and Aryaman was Navya's brother already an cardiologist!

Weird naa? How come like this? Navya and Maddy were in my school and Aryaman was like a brother to me since our schooling! In our school we went that close but by our time in 'Brighton college of medical sciences' we were the best of friends!

Navya and me were no less than soul sisters! We shared everything even we shared an apartment in Pune as our college was in Pune! Aryaman and Maddy lived in the quarters of the college!

Every weekend they used to be here in our apartment to chill! Maddy was closer to Navya in a brotherly sense! Navya always care for him as his brother and vice a versa!

Maddy and me were close enough! He was my best friend! Like every girl has an friend of opposite gender with whom she shares everything was Maddy to me! We had our secret meetings nights too! In short I had an best friend, a sister and even a brother!

I was in my final year when Maddy's gestures changed towards me! He had turned possesive for me! He sticked to me more, he flirted a lot more now, he used to call with cheesy sweet names, but I never really minded it!

That day.....
“Nandu tumhe samaj nahi aa raha ya itni budhdhu ho tum?” Navya asked me hitting my head lightly as we were chatting on our park after completing that day's quite of studies!

“Saaf saaf batao na Navya itna bluntly kya puch rahi ho??” i questioned as I was literally unaware of what she is meaning? “Are Maddy!!” What about Maddy? “Kya??”

“Arre can't you see how much he sticks to you these days??” she asked and i recalled past few days events and yes it was true I indicated her to proceed “Are baba he likes you!!” she exclaimed and I gaped at her in shock! “Kyaa?? Kuch toh bol!! He is a nice guy Nandini!”
