Nandini POV

"Manik for heaven's sake get up naa!! Mom is asking for you down!!" I literally begged being annoyed at this lazy ass who was not ready to get up from the bed! "Manik wake up naa!" I again pleaded trying to get the duvet out of his masculine hold which was practically a baseless task for a smally like me!

"Nandini sone do naa yaar already kal raat der se soya tha!!" he nagged like a school going kid who is being forced to got to school! "Kaha tha so jao but you had to keep working late ab sirf niche aakar breakfast karlo phir sleep na baba!" and look at me I'm no less I am explaining like the same kid's mother to him!

"Achcha Manik thik hai tum so jao mai breakfast karke mom ke ghar jaa rahi hu!" last weapon!! His head shot up and he woke up with a jerk "What??" he shouted! "What, What?? Maine kaha I'm going to my old house for 2-3 days!!"

"And why is that for?? Tumhe jaana kyu hai that too for 2-3 days??" he again yelled and I smirked inwardly and faking up I replied "Stop shouting Manik and yes ab yaha my husband is not ready to listen to me so I'll just be there for a while to be away from this depressing situation you know??"

Saying this I ran away for my life knowing that he's not gonna leave me!! "Nandini stop!! Kaisa joke tha voh?" "Achcha sorry naa! Voh tumhe uthane ke liye I said just like that!" I stopped holding my stomach which had started aching due to laughing and running simultaneously!

"vaise you look quite a bit more fresh kyu kya hua??" he asked settling on the bed taking me along! "Ummm...... Voh Mumma aur dad aa rahe hai with my friend!!" "Friend??" he asked and a sweet smile took over my face!

"Yaa when I was in 10th that time he had become my friend! You know he's reasonably possessive about me! Use toh pata bhi nahi hai ki I'm married aaj use mom dad suprise de rahe hai!!" I said getting lost in the reverie of our memories!

"Achcha suno I am going to meet my friend after 3 long years and he is also going to join my hospital as a cardiologist and a board member so muje ready hona hai also you have to look good so mai kapde nikalti hu tumhaare you take a bath!!"

He was grumpy now for no reason and walked to the bathroom stomping! Shrugging off his sudden change of behaviour I moved to get ready! I was so damn excited for this!! I quickly slipped into a simple black and white anarkali with neon green and fluorescent colour borders of the top and the dupatta too! Okay so white because it was his favorite colour!
