“Careful!!” Dev's unsure voice hit everyone's ears at Dhawan house. Manik and Nandini had arrived from their respective works while after the discharge Dev had taken Sonakshi back home to freshen up. Walking in towards the living room, Sonakshi was about to stumble when Dev held her by her elbows. He got her back on her feet and they strided towards the others. “Hey bro!!” Cabir greeted Dev with a brotherly hug followed by muttering a sweet 'Hi' to Sonakshi!!
“Hey!” Everything was so awkward here that suddenly an hush fell over. But thankfully the almighty had a bundle of joy at the house who came running after jumping from his mother's lap to his favourite chachi who happily englufed him in her arms. “Chachi, I missed you soooo much!” he exclaimed planting a tight kiss on her cheeks that he claimed to be the second most attractive feature in her after her hairs. “Aww my baby, I missed you too.....” she returned his gesture by pecking both his cheeks one after the other. Manik who was sitting beside Nandini made a face.
“Manik, bhai, bachche ko toh chod de.” Cabir earned himself a deathly glare from the monster in return to this. “Achcha ......Mukti kaha hai Nandu??” Navya asked gathering everyone's attention. “Navya voh aati hi hogi.....” she answered and they immediately heard Mukti screeching “Aati hi hogi nahi aa gayi Nandini!!” she entered with Abhimanyu and Aryaman while Nandini walked upto them with Abeer in her hands who was not ready to get down from her lap, too busy in playing with her hairs. She hugged Abhimanyu first succeeding with a warm hug to Aryaman who also planted a brotherly peck on her forehead as a sorry for not being there when she needed him. She smiled at him brightly lightening his head while the rest smiled at them.
“Now that everyone's here let's go and have fooooood yaar, chalo I'm dead hungry.” Cabir expressed his hunger and the rest obliged by moving to the dining table.
