"Happy birthday Nandini once again and do not worry we won't bother you further for today!!" Cabir wished her before leaving, he hugged her sideways and she blushed a bit! Lunch turned out to be fabulous with teasing, gossiping and much more one by one everyone tendered bye to Manik and Nandini and the last were Cabir and Navya!! Manik's jaw dropped as his bestfriend left without sparing even a look to him instead exchanged a bye with Cabir's new friend aka Manik's wife appropriately with a bear hug! "What was that??" he asked and Nandini made faces out of confusion!

"What was what??" she asked as they walked to the parking towards the bike! "Arre matlab since we've got back na i mean me, Cabir and mukti, this Cabir sticks to you more matlab he likes spending time with you yaar that's not fair, like how do you manage to pull everyone to yourself!" Manik cribbed like a kid prevented from talking to his only friend causing Nandini suppress the huge bomb of giggles! "Ask yourself na! The way you were pulled to me the same was others also get pulled!"

"Don't say that! No one can be pulled to you in the way that I was pulled to you! Don't you think so??" he utilised the opportunity of having no one around in the parking lot by enticing her by waist towards himself. "Haa but pehle toh we were friends na tab ki baat kar rahi hu!!" she somehow managed to reply being bound in the proximity that right now they were parceling out! "Really??" that teasing glint in his eyes made him look cuter that which he hated to be called with!

"Manik please. Birthday hai mera aaj toh pareshan mat karo naa!!" last weapon. Emotional connect. He left her not before kissing her cheeks once! "Achcha chalo let's make a move!!" he paddled her settling themselves on the bike, they started! "Ummm..... Nandini do you want to do anything specific on your birthday??" he asked her to distract her from the route he had taken exactly opposite to the direction of Malhotra mansion! "Nahi bas I want to meet Mumma and dad!!" yes she slipped thi the zone where Manik did not want her to enter but then it's impossible for a daughter to not to remember her parents on her birthday because of whom she was on the earth today! Ofcourse Raghav was not her biological father but indeed held even more superior place in her life and heart! Had not Sonia decided to divorce her first husband, Nandini would have been suffering somewhere with her mother if she would have been with her biological father but maybe she deserved better hence she never really had to suffer and all thanks to Raghav who left no stone unturned to award her with every happiness!

It would have been out of the blue if she would have not reminisced about her parents but alas she's a normal being postponing had enough of it and hence it spilled out! Manik didn't knew what to say and therefore chose to go with silence and give her the much needed space for a while! The whole ride passed on silence and luckily Nandini did not notice the whole way and Manik sighed in relief as she was still in a trance and had not yet recognised their destination!
