Chapter 19: She is fine now!!!

Manik POV
"I know you need rest isliye aise ghode bechke so rahi ho!!! Achche se rest karlo because jab uthogi tab muje Jo face karna hai tumhe!!" I was basically conversing with an unconscious person but it's Nandini, consciousness of her doesn't matter because I know she's a very good listener for me and she'll do that in any of her state!!

"Nandini!!" the screams echoed in the extra silent room which caused me gasp! Nandini needs not to be pestered so I got up immediately to witness a panting dad and a crying mom!! I rushed to them and held their hands "Mom dad please?? She's fine now please compose yourselves!" I held their hands and brought them near Nandini's bed and got them flumped on the alongside chairs!!

Mom caressed Nandini's hairs and Dad had held her hands firmly ensuring her safety!! I weakly smiled memorising my state a while back! I was her husband but these were here parents what they must be going through only they know!!

"Mom dad I'm waiting outside more people are not allowed here! You take your time!" saying this I walked out!! "Manik Nandini Kaisi hai??" Bhai inquired as I sat on the bench outside the ward! They were here since long time!! "Bhai she's fine just unconscious hai doctor ne kaha hai thodi der mei she'll wake up!!"

"Bhabhi Mukti kaha hai?" "Manik voh children's ward mei busy hai with Abhimanyu! Maine abhi tak bataya nahi hai usse! I'll tell and come!!" she walked away and bhai followed her!!

Mom dad came out! "Manik usse abhi tak hosh kyu nahi aaya??" mom asked ready to burst into tears again and I assured "Mom sedatives ke vaje se she is sleeping! Aap log ghar jao when she wakes up I'll call you again and please don't argue, yaha zyaada crowd allowed nahi hai!!" i politely enunciated and they nodded in endorsement!

"Manik usse ham hamare ghar lekar jaate hai once she gets discharge please?? Bhai sahab aur Nyonica bhi nahi hai uska dhyaan kon rakhega??" mom pleaded and I wheezed in horror!! No I can't let her go away even for a minute!!

"Mom you don't worry Nandini ka dhyaan mai rakhunga!! And please if you want to be with her aap kuch dinon ke liye shift ho jao Malhotra mansion mei!! But Nandini ko yu jaane nahi de paunga mai, I cannot even imagine that please understand!!" I begged and they left saying they can understand and will return after a while!!

Nandini, this girl!! Uff!! It's been 3 hours since her operation! Mukti visited her, mom came again to give her some comfortable clothes as Nandini hates the patient's dress!! I was sitting beside her, with one hand interweaved with hers close to my cheek and other caressing her hairs!!

I kept looking at her serene face when I felt the grip on my hand getting a bit tighter!! Realization struck me! Nandini was gaining her senses!! "Ma.....nik Manik!!" now my day has started with her taking my name! Moreover her gaining senses back just emerged wierd kind of emotions to confess something but don't know what??

Her eyeballs rolled in her closed eyes, her fingers moved, struggling and frowning she opened her eyes!! I instantly embraced her hermetically feeling her presence and safety!

"Are you mad? What was the need to pull this stunt??" I interrogated smiling and crying at the same time!! She moved a bit uncomfortably but I was too busy in hugging her to notice!! “Manik...... Muje sans lene.....nahi ho raha hai!!” she whispered and I immediately got for up from her!!
