Getting over it was smooth with Manik by my side but then this is not invited!!

It was! You already knew it that you'll be here someday so why not today??

But it's not that a very simple for me! Madhyam? What shape is this going to take??
Aryaman? Will he forgive me?!

Right now sitting on her bed of their room in the apartment of her College days in Pune, nothing came into her mind except this! She had planned so much about reminiscing her memories here alongwith Manik but everything went no where but into the gutter!

She failed miserably at her plans, moral boosts, self controls! Anything that was left with her was the fears, tears, disgust and pain! No matter however we move-on but the reality remaining is that past is not past instead a 60% shareholder of the present! All her happy times did nothing but to raise her hopes of getting rid of the sticky memories!

She wiped her tears away when the click struck her auditory senses! “Kya hua?? Why are you sitting like a statue??” Manik asked settling their suitcase inside the creak-sound-producing old wooden wardrobe of theirs! “Kuch nahi! Just this room reminds me of many a things!!” she said smiling and he reciprocated it back!

“Like??” he asked flumping beside her on the bed taking her in a side hug!! “Ummmm...... Like..... Me and Navya baking late nights, midnight movies, weekend night outs, Aryaman and my jamming, birthdays, Madhyam's surpris.......” she trailed off her list when her beautiful memories with her best friend rushed into the memory lane!

Things took a drastic turn but then those gossips with a male bestie, late night phone chats, the secretive hangouts, those hair-pulling banters, flirting, teasing and every other thing made her weak on her knees when she walked on the memory lane all alone! Madhyam was all these for her but the invasion of undesirable offerings from the most unexpected part triggered even the deepest roots of friendship!!

Manik was blank! This was uninvited for him! Though he knew he will have to face something like this but not even in his dreams he had dreamt of Nandini missing Madhyam! Knowing Nandini was not yet done neither it can be ever done! He being the husband of hers could not soak in the presence of Madhyam in her heart but it wasn't her fault too!
