Chapter 14: Reception.........

Nandini POV

Manik! This is the only name and person who is fully into my head since past 10-11 days! When I let the walls around me melt away! He us mending up into my line becoming a part of me! I had always thought I can never live without mumma and dad but in these two days he managed to comfort me and get along with him!

Today he came from his office to my hospital just because I was upset! Yes I was, Itasha passed away today! I was angry more than upset on my doctors as this was somewhere their fault if not being able to save her! But she was at her last stage cancer even her body was not responding and she had started loosing breathes so this had to happen!

Manik had fully diverted my mind and also had lightened my mood! He took me to a Chinese restaurant where I discovered that Chinese cuisine was one which we both had a common interest in! The best part when I said I'll give our relationship a shot, I genuinely meant it! Love cannot happen like now but maybe in future it can as he is the only one whom I find as mine! He was the only unfeigned part of my life today and at any cost I'm not letting him go neither now nor in future!

As we completed our luch it was time to leave but I wanted to spend more time with him! Thankfully he also was free and took me to Bandstand! He asked me without any hesitation do I want to get back with my friends and I very easily hugged him, also said that now I think that was not needed indicating he is enough for me! His arms felt home! Yesterday itself I had almost got back to normal but today was extremely special! It was seriously like I had spent quality time with my husband like a couple!

His eyes are indeed readable but maybe only I could because the ones who left them behind especially Kritika could not! But maybe this was destined as if that must not have happened then Manik must not have been in my life!

I was here getting ready for our reception party! Manik was in the room getting ready and i was here in the closet! Yesterday Manik asked dad to organise this as he wanted to tell the media that he was MARRIED to me!! That moment when he requested that dad was baffled initally but later was exponentially happier! Everyone was more than ready to do this and here I'm standing all ready in a pink floral anarkali lehenga which had an info western look to it perfect for a bride of the reception party! No ornaments were required as the dress was almost upto my collar from the front side but was a backless outfit! The light pink dupatta with golden borders looked ethereal with the dress! Only a pair of heavy indo-western earrings was what I carried with the dress!
