Manik POV
All the rituals were done! Mom-dad had arrived just before the funeral! Rishabh and his whole family was here! This was the most shocking news for the family! Mom-dad could not believe what was happening! Helplessness had taken the complete charge over me seeing the scenario of Murthy mansion as me and bhai returned from the graveyard!

Hush had fell over the living room! Mukti and bhabhi had left to Malhotra mansion as these things would stress up bhabhi and in this condition it was not at all an option! “Bhai aap ghar jao! Bhabhi can need you!” I said and he reluctantly walked away!

Mom and dad were in the garden of the mansion! I thought of going to them when a loud sound caught my attention! Shit! Nandini! Where is she! The sound was from her room! I ran like a maniac to her room only to find The vase broken and Nandini's hand bleeding badly! God what has she done to herself! I took her to the bed and made her sit! She silently was staring the family pic that was clicked on our wedding day right in the direction opposite to which she was sitting!

I wiped my tears away when mom dad entered with a worried look! “Manik yeh kya hua ise?” mom asked rushing to the side table which had a first aid box! “Don't know mom!” I shifted my gaze uncomfortably as I could not meet anyone's gaze!

Mom got done with the dressing, dad settled opposite to Nandini and I stood beside her holding one of her hand in mine!! “Nandini?” dad called her in a low tone and Nandini finally met his gaze! “Dad I'm the worst daughter ever on this earth hai na?” she asked tears threatening to fall anytime soon but dad nodded his head in a no!

“Nandini bachcha, you're the best daughter one could have! Yes it was your mistake of not talking about it to Raghav but then he loved you way beyond these petty things! Agar phir bhi you don't feel good then apologize to me!!” dad informed and I stood there blank! What was he upto!

Nandini lowered her gaze “Dad I should have talked to him! Please I'm sorry! I never meant to hurt him! It's just that I always feared that maybe I'll hurt him which I did not want at any cost! But I never knew my misconceptions and insecurities will lead me here!” she sobbed harder and had gave his shoulder to her! She placed her forehead on his shoulder and closed her eyes!

“I forgive you! Raghav aur mai ab alag nahi hai! He left without any worries because his Nandini's father part he has left with me and so did Sonia with Nyonica! We both accept your apology and like Raghav is asking me to do is take you to your home and start a fresh!” I was dumbstruck at his words! Maybe because it was Nandini that's why I could comprehend his maturity level but then this amused me! I could have not consoled Nandini as this was not something which could seek peace after consolation! Nandini had entered a dense zone of guilt, insecurity and vulnerability!
