Chapter 20: Family time!!

Nandini POV
Mumma and dad had visited me twice after I had woken up! Manik was being so caring that what can I say?? Somewhere down the line I feel a surge to love him but then I decide to let it go slow!! We are right now in a phase where our relationship is mending and getting stonger, the day we fall for each other that would be terribly awesome and great uptill then I want to enjoy this time of ours!!

Right now I was being fed by my dear hubby who at any cost wanted my tummy to burst out!! "Manik please naa enough now! Muje aur bhuk nahi hai ab!!" I pleaded but this stubborn head can never even dare to listen to me!! I so hate him for this!! "Nandini just this much and that's it please kha lo naa!!"

Huffing and puffing I took the last bite and heaved a sigh of relief!! "Nandini abhi lye down and take some rest mai ghar jaakar fresh hokar aata hu so that I can stay back here tonight!! Mukti ko bhejta hu!!" Saying this rather ordering this he got up to leave but paused on his tracks as I held his wrist back!! "Manik tum jaakar ghar par stay karo kal morning mei aa jaana na!!" "No Nandini, mai return toh aa raha hu just that I'll freshen up and come and let me tell you that you are not arguing!!!" I genuinely hate this bossy Manik, but it's okay!

As per my hubby's dictations Mukti entered as soon as he left! "Nandini so jao its quite late!" She said in a low tone hinting at some new matter! "Yaha aao, come and sit beside me! ........now tell what's up??" "Nandini voh Abhi...." she hesitated to continue! Abhi is duffer ne kya kia ab?? "What about that dimwit? Tell me don't hesitate Mukti!"

"Usne kuch nahi kia! I have started ummm.......kinda liking him!" While saying the last part her eyes were tightly shut and my jaws dropped wide open!! "Come again!!" I muttered unable to believe my ears! She blushed profusely and then uttered "I think I like him!" "Sachchi??" She nodded and I beamed in joy!

"Gosh Muje nahi pata tha that this dud can also make a girl fall for him in a span of a week!!" I teased her as somewhere I already knew this coming! "Nandini but after the Harshad fiasco I'm not sure about my judgements!!

"Mukti not because he's my friend I'm saying this but he genuinely is a nice guy! Don't rush into anything, take your time and think at least a hundred before taking any decision for thou! Always remember I'm there no matter whatever you choose for yourself!! So don't get worked up in fact I'll advise you to enjoy this blooming phase!!"

She flung into my arms hugging me so tight as if she wants to strangulate me to death! "Achcha bata uske side se koi signal??" I asked winking at get getting her flustered! That is when I realized she is one heck of a beautiful person and if everything goes well then Abhi is definitely one with a golden fortune!

"Nandini bhai be kaha tha to make sure you take rest! So before he comes and bashes me up please do the honours of having a siesta??" she asked scornfully with a royal b bow down which made me roll my eyes!!

"Nandini you sleep naa sorry that I woke you up!" Manik apologised for pestering my slumber but I nodded in a No! "Mukti tu jaa ghar jaakar rest le!! Mai Nandini ko lekar kal subah aa jaunga!!"

Mukti left and I excitedly screamed "What Manik Sachchi?? Tomorrow I'm getting my discharge??"
"Yup Abhimanyu said you don't like anything about being a patient on bed so on a condition that you'll take a month off, he agreed to give you discharge!" he elucidated drafting my grin wider!!
