Chapter 16: Now you are my strength!!!

Nandini POV

Gosh Abeer is so cute! Just like Cabir! But later I realized Cabir is Manik's long lost rather who left him friend! I wish I should have a kid like this little one! Chiii..... Nandini kya soch rahi hai pagal!

“Chachi aat bohot cute ho!!” he said playing with my hairs, he was to much fascinated with my hairs and it felt good! But maybe I was doing a blunder by getting attached to Navya's son! Buy he's a kid and I need to be cursed for this thought of mine!

“Baby not more than you!” i said pinching his cheeks lightly, he rubbed his cheeks cutely pouting! But I had to let go of the bundle of joy! But if costs me less drama with no scene being created then it's well fine good!

I handled him to Cabir and he smiled! I could not smile back don't know why! Maybe because of I was as more imputed to Manik now! Cabir first sighed daily but immediately making it a precedence of a sweet smile! I shifted my gaze awkwardly from him to Navya!

She seemed sad! Was I the reason?? Ofcourse not if she was upset with my behavior then this was me and if was guilty then let her be because she should be!

The n Navelis left with the little Dhawan clan letting my relieved breath out which was stuck some where! But this was not it! I know something's gonna happen! I just hope it does not trigger the state of equilibrium which me and Manik have attained after lots of hurdles!!

An Hush fell over the living room of Malhotra mansion! Nothing escaped our mouths! Mom dad were very silent with their heads hung, Mukti had unshed tears yet to escape, bhai and bhabhi were glancing everyone with helpless expression and Manik was totally inscrutable! Everyone silently walked towards their rooms except for Manik, me and Mukti!

Mukti walked past Manik to her room sonorous enough to seek Manik's long lost attention!! He squarely glanced at me! I walked up to him and side hugged him! Which made me realize that his body was uptill now austere and in my embrace he melted a bit!

“Everything's gonna be okay!” i said wiping his tears and he managed to voice out a sorry!! “Shhh ...... You don't have to be! We'll handle!” I broke the hug which he had tightened and faced him! Slowly cupping his cheeks I raised on my toes and let my lips linger over his forehead for a while!

He smiled and I felt assured! “Tum kamre mei jao! I'll get Mukti settled! You rest!” I said and walked to Mukti's room!

“Mukti??” “Please Nandini mujhe koi consolation nahi chahiye! Ham baadmei baat karenge!” she her tumultuous voice echoed in the silent room! Still I dared to step in her room which led a pillow attack on my face!
“Ouch .....that hurts!” i exclaimed getting the pillow from the ground giving it to her, her puzzled face looked funny! But Nandini jaan pyaari hai toh shut your mouth up!

“Lo hit me! Agar maarne se your anger subsides then I'm all yours!” she threw the pillow again on my face! Again she grabbed a pillow and catapulted at me! This hurt more! She was about to alter my facial map by aiming the vase beside on me when I shouted “Aaae mar jaungi!” her hand dropped the poor thing of mud on the bed thankfully!

“Nahi you only wanted me to vent my anger on you so bear with me!” “Bear karne ke liye I should be alive darling so please continue with pillows!” she let out a genuine giggle amidst her tears and sat on the bed! “Sorry!” she meekly whispered and I wiped her gushing waterfall away!

“I'm not here to console! I'm here to listen because I know you want one who will listen to you!!” I said and she let out a languish of grief! “You know Nandini jab yeh sab hua I was no where at fault but still those duds chose to leave me along! Bhai needed me but even I needed someone! Just few days before they chaos the Harshad mess had occurred, I had not even recovered and this happened! Cabir was like my brother after Manik bhai the closest one to me but even he left! Today seeing HIM has gotten my head on fire!”

“Mukti I love you a sister, friend and as a human!” i said and she smiled hugging me tight! “Me to Nandini for being in bhai's life and also mine!” she said! “Achcha now when you are okay can you just have a check over Innara! Muskaan mei she is busy ranting she wants her Mukti dii!” i requested! “yup I was already planning to do that!” she said and I left the room!

Just as I entered our room I felt a strong tug over my waist directly taking me to the bed falling over Manik! Butterflies fluttered and I shuddered under his touch! This was a first! Our proximity was new! Most vitaly I did not feel uncomfortable! It felt ecstatic!

“I never knew I have a wife with Beauty and immense brains!” he whispered in a husky tone, his hot breathes fanning over my face! “Kyu??” i managed to channelize my vocals to him and he smiled!

“I overheard you and Mukti! You are the most beautiful person in my life! Thanks to our parents that they chose you for me and me for you!” he said and lyied beside resting his head on his elbows having a clear look at me getting me on the bed!

“Haww Manik girls ki baat sunte hue Sharam nahi aayi??” i expressed my amazement and he chuckled!! “Kaisi Sharam? One is my wife and the other my sister! So you don't bother yourself!”

Manik POV
She pouted cutely! Her this new Avatar dazed me and I loved this! She found me good enough to throw her tantrums on me! The way she handled Mukti there was so pure! She is very mature! She beared with few hits of Mukti's anger!

“Nandini I think I like you!” it escaped my lips as the same crossed my mind too!! Now I regret on my words as her unmodulated face I got in return!

“Nandini voh Ummmm..... I'm sorry bas voh Jo I felt..... I said! Sorry if you felt bad!” .........

But her next action shocked me to the core as she hugged me tight! Firstly I was too bombshelled to react but when I felt her hands tracing away from my body I hugged back deepening my hold more!

“Tumne kuch reply nahi diya!” now I teased her and her cheeks heated up!! She looks more beguiling when she is flustered that too because of me!!  She hid her face in my chest and mumbled something clearly inaudible to me!

“now tell!” i asked adjusting my hands on her waist after raising her chin to meet my gaze! Why was I being romantic, naughty even I didn't knew but it felt prodigious so I let myself do that!!

“Maybe even my heart is saying the same!” she said being captivated in my gaze and I placed my head on her heart causing her gasp and me smirk knowing the effect of me on her! “I never knew this speaks!” i was being dumb but it's okay i guess!

“What are you saying bro can you repeat so that I gain my trust back on my ears!!” so cheesy,  isn't it?? “It says it likes you!” she whispered in my ears making me shiver!

“Nandini I know this is not the end! They'll try to connect back but we just need to be strong!” i said and she nodded in affirmation! “Manik Mukti has shared her past with me.... I mean about Harshad!” she said and i placed a kiss on her hairs saying “I know! And it's good to know!!”

“Nandini NOW YOU ARE MY STRENGTH! Please be with be always and stay this cheerful always! And I like you!” i confessed lots together again letting her dumbfounded with a sudden peck on her lips.............
