"You'll drive me crazy one day!!" she said setting her hairs after wearing her clothes back. "What? I mean, Why??"he asked looking at her relaxing on the end of the bed. "Matlab, seriously? Fantasy to make love in office?? Kiski fantasy itni weird hoti hai??" she asked. "Meri thi! Jo complete hi gayi!" he said shrugging off while she rolled her eyes on him! "Let's go outside! They'll be here anytime!!" she literally pulled him back to the cabin. They both settled on the couch standing at a corner of the same cabin.

“Manik, I'm hungry!!” she pouted rubbing her stomach over the fabric. “I'll order pizza!!” he pulled out his phone but before he could dial Nandini interrupted “order some extra pizzas, sab aa rahe hai so everybody can have!” he nodded and placed the order! “Done! ......Waise I think we need to talk!!” he said. “About what?? Her face was written over with confusion all over. “Don't you think it's high time that you are out with what's up between you and Mom??” he asked and she shifted in her place uncomfortably.

“What about us Manik??” she didn't meet gaze with him instead kept fidgeting her fingers out of nervousness. “We never have talked over that after that day and I have been noticing that you're not talking to mom! You know that you can share anything with me! So tell me what's going on!??”his arms framed her petite figure into himself as he held her by his shoulders. She leaned back placing her head on his arms “There's nothing that you don't know, since that day I'm not able to talk to her. Mujhse yeh maturity ka act aur nahi hoga, directly she stated the difference between a daughter and daughter-in-law! To be very frank maybe her presence is suffocating me now. I don't want to make things difficult for you, so it's better if we don't dig deep!”

“What do you mean by she's suffocating you??” he questioned but it was way too polite to be ignored. “As in it feels like I'm getting an asthma attack when all that memories come back. Tumhe bhi pata hai, all my life if I have feared something then it's feigned relationships and mine and mom's is one of them which I've started to dread about. Her anger was not that affected me, whatever she said hurts like hell even now. Aisa lagta hai jaise again I'm left to die the same way Madhyam did years back! Kabhi kabhi toh lagta hai ki I should walk out of this house forever or just die somewhere out of failure in relationships.” he was bombshelled on hearing out her confession. He could never really figure out that her emotions were so extreme. “Don't ever talk about dieing! I hope this is the last time I'm getting to hear this crap. You could have talked to me about this right! Why do you have the wait till everything's extreme is attained??” he said.

“Kya bolti?? Ki comeon let's leave your house forever just for the sake of my stupid messed up thoughts!?” she spat out. “Okay! Don't get hyper! You just need a closure and I'm there for that! Anyhow this music recording and series shooting is going to keep us busy and away from here so by the end of this your thoughts will be sorted, if not, then we'll talk to dad about this!!”he said and she nodded not out of understanding​ but she badly wanted this conversation to be end as it'll lead them nowhere.

Moonlight lightening their dark bedroom was witnessed as they stepped in together after a happening announcement of the album of theirs. When they broke the news everyone were initally shocked but later it was replaced with infinite wishes and immense happiness. Manik was relaxed on knowing that Mukti and Cabir weren't upset infact both had gone crazy about the news. Cabir and mukti were the ones who were the most excited for this pounced on Nandini instead of him being overwhelmed. Manik's jaw kissed the floor hanging open on the sight of his sister and his bestfriend forgetting him and instead celebrating with his wife. But eventually he was also a part of the celebration and the rest was history.

She switched on the lights while he fell on the bed directly indicating how knackered he was. She sat beside him after getting rid of her wedges and he shifted his head on her lap. She smiled at him and kept fondling his hairs when Nyonica entered the room missing out on the knocking part. They both didn't notice her entering and hence she had to clear her throat to gain their attention.

The both immediately stood up on their feet learning her presence. Nandini ignored eye-contact while Manik found it important to ask the reason for her sudden arrival “Mom, what happened?? Itni raat ko you're here, us everything fine??” “Haa, everything's fine! Dev told me about your music series thing, I just came to congratulate!! Congratulations to both of you!!” she said patting their heads. “Thank-you Mom!” they both said in chorus but their voice modulations were poles apart! Nandini posted a fake smile on her face. “Nandini, I'm sorry for my behavior! I should have acted maturely but instead I just lost my calm that day!!” Nyonica said while Nandini stood blank. “Umm..... It's Okay mom! I'm habituated to these kinda stuff! Please don't bother yourself!!” she uttered and before she could hear yet another apology she walked into the washroom grabbing her changes.

“Mom, I'm sorry! But my hands are tied too! Trust me, everything will be fine, just give her and yourself some time!!” Manik consoled a crying Nyonica before she left their room. He was helpless. He was at a crossroad but the way he had to choose was clear. Amongst his mom and wife, mom was at fault and it had hurt his wife! Incontestably he had to stand by his wife but he didn't want himself and Nandini either of them to loose the only mother's love. He vowed to get things straightened​as before with the course of time, needless to mention taking care that no one's hurt!

She came back after a good 30 minute warm shower to find a freshened up Manik lieing on the bed with eyes closed. She put her towel into the dryer and walked to the bed. Sitting on the end where his head was positioned she pulled her legs up. Sensing her presence he again got up only to sleep on her lap again. “You're awake??” she interrogated surprised by his act. “Now-a-days I've got this very bad habit of sleeping only when you're around so yes I was up!!” he teased to be playfully smacked by his delicate doll-like wife. “I'm sorry Manik! In the morning too I went overboard and abhi bhi I behaved like this! Only for you and us I promise I'll try to get everything sorted between me and Mom as soon as possible!” she said in a low tone and he grinned like a 3-year-old who was gifted his favourite candy! He just needed this! Her this one step was enough for him as he will not let her suffer anymore and do the honours of solving everything for her. “Thank-you but right now I'll be happy if we sleep as I'm dead tired!!”

She switched off the lights and he pulled her beside him. Covering themselves with the quilt secondly after primarily enveloping in each other's warmth, they slipped into a peaceful slumber!

Guys!! I've taken the descision to end this story! After this will be a regular chapter and the 51st chapter will be the epilogue!!

I'm planning on a new book!! It will not be a sequel but an entirely different story! It'll take time but you guys will get it's details here as soon as I update!!
