1/1/2014: Oh my God, no one even noticed that the name of this chapter was "Chapter Twenty-Seven" when it was supposed to be "Chapter THIRTY-seven." What the hell, I didn't realize it for one month. God I'm stupid.

“So, how many guys have you kissed in your lifetime?” Roxanne asked, as she gathered my blonde hair to her hands and started brushing.
“Um… that would be fifteen,” Xayranne said, going inside my closet to get my gown.
She snorted. “Oh really?"
“Okay, fine, twelve! How many did you kiss anyway?”
Roxanne grinned smugly. “Thirty-five! And I’m younger than you are – which is a big plus point.”
I sighed, fighting the urge to roll my eyes. “Will you two please stop? It’s getting annoying, and it’s not really helping my nerves.”
“How many guys did you kiss?” Xayranne asked me this time.
My cheeks reddened a little bit and looked away. “Doesn’t matter.”
“Oh honey, it does!” Roxanne told me. “It’s going to be your wedding and you will never have the chance to kiss other boys after this!”
“Except if you drink blood of course,” her sister said and winked at me.
“Don’t laugh at me, but I only kissed four guys in my lifetime,” I said quickly. “And for the record, I’m the youngest vampire here so I have a good reason why!”
Roxanne looked at me incredulously. “You only kissed four guys and you’re getting married? Uh-uh! You go out there and kiss other guys before you get married!”
“And cancel the wedding? Please, after all they’ve spent?” Xayranne said, shaking her head. She stepped out from my walk-in closet and on her hands, was a big box that contained my wedding gown. “Whoa, this is heavy.”
Roxanne continued brushing my curly hair and then fixed it up into an elegant bun. She left some of my curls hanging on my sides. When she was done, she clapped her hands proudly. “You look so gorgeous, Melanie.”
I smiled. “Thanks, Rox,” I said and then got up from my seat.
Xayranne opened the box and then took my gown. She smiled tenderly. “It’s so beautiful,” she murmured and handed it to me.
I took off my bathrobe and stood there inside my room with only my underwear on. With the help of Xayranne and Roxanne, I slipped on my big wedding gown. After three minutes, the gown was already on me.
“Oh my,” Xayranne gasped. “You look so pretty, Mel.”
Roxanne wiped a tear from her eyes. “Aw, I can’t believe that you’re actually getting married!”
I walked over to the front of my mirror. I felt my eyes widen as I saw a girl who looked like me, but at the same time… wasn’t me. This girl was too beautiful, too pretty to be me. Her face was so pink – with make up or with happiness, I don’t know. Her wedding gown looked perfect for her. She was smiling, brightening up her face.
“I can’t believe it’s me,” I whispered to no one in particular. “Actually, I can’t believe that everything of this is actually happening!”
Xayranne’s voice interrupted my thoughts. “Uh-oh. It’s already nine-thirty! The wedding’s going to start in ten-thirty! We have one hour to go to the church! Come on!”
Roxanne helped me with my gown as the three of us walked down the stairs. In the living room, my parents were waiting. When they looked up to see me, both of their eyes went wide. I blushed deeply.
