"So?"

"He hasn't replied but the message went through. He's probably asleep."
I tucked my phone back into my pocket as Will slumped down in his chair.

This guy...he had to be the most fascinating person I'd ever met!

His knowledge of the world, all worlds was unmatchable!

It was like this guy knew everything!
His home was incredible too!

He lives inside a cabin inside a cave inside a mountain under a shield under the ocean off the coast of Iyana in Kakadelia.

And surprisingly, it was pretty easy to get to. If you knew how.

Though it seems impossible, Will is actually a really nice guy.

He's super kind and polite and honest.

Much more of a gentleman than anyone else I know.
And he rarely does any harm, never on purpose either.

"So, you hungry?"
He smiled, opening his cupboards and rummaging through the never ending supply of junk food.
Crisps, cookies, chocolate bars, you name it.

"No thanks. But I can cook us both a nice meal later, if you like?"

"Wait, you can cook as well?! Oh, just marry me now!"
He joked, pretending to faint.

We'd been talking nonstop, even on the way there.

"So then it turns out the damn farmer is a mass murderer!"

"Are you kidding?!"

"Nope. And I tell ya, I was outta there faster than you could stand up. Literally, I teleported."

"Gosh, that must have been so scary!"

"Eh, y'know. Being immortal, you see a lotta shit."
He shrugged, leaning back with his arms behind his head.

"You can say that again."
I sighed.

Will really was a great guy.
I don't understand why James was so freaked out by him.

He was super nice.

Will's book collection was absolutely gigantic!
He had more than any library I'd ever been in.

"Feel free to read anything you like."

"Wow...I barely ever get to read at home. I'm usually stuck watching t.v most of the day."
I chuckled, flicking through the first shelf.

"You enjoy watching television?"

"Yeah. Some shows are actually really good. Heh, it was actually t.v that taught me to cook."

"I see. Well, take as long as you want. You can even pick a few to borrow, if you'd like?"

"Wow, really?!"

"Sure thing. The shelf on your left has all my personal favourites."

He left me to ruffle through a seemingly never-ending collection of books. I quickly found myself in the velvet chair, my eyes locked onto the page as the words flowed throughout the story. It was a strange book, for sure.
About a young girl with magical powers who travelled to strange lands and met many strange people. A very stereotypical fantasy, but interesting nonetheless.

"You're really still in here?"

Looking up, I saw him leaning against the doorway.
It reminded me of Jake a little...he'd always do small, casual things like that.
