"What?! She tried to attack you?!"

"Yeah...then that black haired guy helped and...it all got out of hand..."

"Oh my gosh, Will...I can't believe they'd do that..."
I wiped the blood from his cheek as he chuckled.

"It's okay. They must have been mistaken. It's not their fault."

"You're so nice..."

Why would they have just lashed out like that?
I mean, I know Jake can get violent but...not like that, right?

"I actually thought he was a nice guy, seeing how much you liked him. But, after seeing him act so suddenly with so much violence...I don't think he's very safe...."

"I'm sure he just wasn't thinking straight. I've known Jake for a long time, he's not like that. Though Static, I can't speak for..."

Jake was only violent when he needed to be. So why would he have felt the need to attack Will?

William left to sort himself out and I began tidying up the living room.

General habit, I suppose.

Once finished, I headed up to the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth ready for bed.

But I saw something strange in the mirror.

Something on my cheek.

Grabbing a towel, I tried to wipe it off, but it seemed like it was somehow...a part of my face.

Like ink beneath the skin.

It was a small, black line. Only maybe three centimetres long at most going horizontal, following the direction of my jawline.

How strange...

"Hey Will...do you know what this is?"
I asked, stepping into his room.

"Hm? Oh, don't worry. That happens sometimes to people who aren't in Iyana very often. It'll go away soon."
He turned back to his mirror, fixing his hair.
"What do you think? Does black suit me?"

"Oh, very dapper."
I giggled.

Will wasn't really human, so he could change his features however he wanted. It was really quite fascinating.

"...um...Will?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think we could perhaps go and visit my friends tomorrow?"

He paused for a moment before turning to face me again.

"Why? Don't you like being here?"

"No! No, it's not that. I'm just...worried about Köleil. She seemed really ill last time I saw her."

"The Eclipse? Nah, don't worry about her. She's already getting better."

"Really? Thank goodness..."
I smiled.

"Yep. And hey, as soon as she's completely better, we'll invite her over for dinner or something. Would you like that?"

"That'd be great! Thanks Will!"
I ran up to give him a quick hug. He chuckled, hugging me back.

I loved being with Will.
He's so nice.

The bed was so comfortable in Will's house. The sheets were really soft and the pillows were super big and fluffy! When you lie back, you just sink into them like clouds.
