"Ok let me get this straight. Monica is an evil mermaid that nearly killed your aunt and almost made you a permanent mermaid."
"Yep."
"Hey wanna come to my house."
"Sure."

"Who's Briar?" Ariel asked.
"My best friend."
"Who's Luke." She said smirking and raising an eyebrow.
"Just a guy. No one special."
"Alright." She said turning around.
"Oh dear god I'm smirking. That's all Daniel does! It's his only expression! Well, when he was 13." We walked to my house and I went in.
"Hey mom. Hey Mrs. Montgomery. Wait, why are you here?! Sorry, that sounded rude." I went up to my room and sitting in my bed was a ball of white fluff.
"Lassy get off my bed you crazy dog!" I scolded. I looked at a my journal. Half the pages were ripped to shreds. No need to cry over it. I just bit my lip and stared at my dog. Trust me, I'm not going to yell at him. I'm not that cruel.
"Dogs, am I right?" I turned around to see Luke Montgomery staring at me with a cute smirk.
"Yeah." I said.
"Would you want to go to the beach?" He asked.
"I'd love too." We walked down to the beach together. Maybe this won't be such a bad summer after all.Hello! And no, Luke's only expression is just smirking😏. Sorry for the short chapter. Soccer game. Thanks for reading!
