We sat in my room and talked about stuff.
"No one in my family cares about her birthday really. Like they'll go down to the cemetery but not much more than that." I said.
"Well that's rude." A faint voice said.
"Did you say something?" I asked Luke.
"No I thought it was you." We heard a faint giggle. What the heck was that? Was Hannah outside the door?
"Do you think it's Hannah?" I asked.
"She was in the dance studio."
"How so Van Gough?" Said that same faint voice. There was only one person who said that stupid expression. Kaitlyn.
"Um Luke is it strange that the only person who says that is Kaitlyn."
"Yes! Definitely!" He yelled.
"I'm not gonna hurt you." Said the faint voice. Suddenly a blurry version of Kaitlyn appeared at the end of the bed. Luke and I screamed. Loudly.
"Are you gonna wish me a happy birthday?" She snapped.
"Happy birthday!" We both yelledn, worried what would happen if we didn't. She just rolled her eyes at us.
"Ok if you really are 'Kaitlyn' than what are some of the stupid nicknames I got over the years from you." I said skeptically.
"Heiders, Nathan Hale actually your friends gave you that, artaholic, and I have a ton more li-" she said counting off her fingers. I cut her off after several of her stupid nicknames.
"Fine now shut up." I groaned.
"By the way if Syrena asks Hannah stole her Girl Scout cookies."
"Heidi where are my cookies?!" Syrena screamed.
"Hannah ate em."
"No she didn't I asked." She crashed into my room.
"Since when has Hannah ever been honest about dessert."
"Good point." She stomped out of my room and yelled Hannah's name. Glad I put an end to this that.
"Do you know any ghosts?" I asked.
"Lots actually. Also California is sweet especially during Day of the Dead and.." she rambled on about stupid stuff I don't care about like normal. She basically still looked the same. Same shoulder length brown hair and green eyes. She just looked 13 and ghostlyer, after all she is a ghost.
"Um so do you know any ghosts that are really old."
"Well I know a 18 year old from 1781. She babysat me when I was 10 and 11. I can ask her to come!" She squealed. She piped up at the last part.
"I'm good."
"To late!" Within 10 minutes a girl with blonde hair in a bun came in. She had a raggedy dress on and cuts on her forehead. She had pale blue eyes and a dirty white dress.
"Hi my name is Adeline." She said. Her voice was smooth like silk.
"What happened to you." I said smiling.
"I was about to get married and my husband was crossing over to the manor but was hit by a carriage and died. Then I locked myself in my room and jumped off the balcony. My wedding dress is gross now." She said looking at the dress in disgust.
"Oh. Gruesome."
"Yeah kind of a tragic love story."
"Come on let's go home I'm starving." Whined Kaitlyn.
"Bye." They said in unison and left.
"I'm am scarred for life." Said Luke.
"Yeah I'm gonna isolate myself in a closet for an hour. Ghosts have always freaked me out. I learned that after going on a ghost tour and then going on a graveyard at 10 pm and then just now saw 2 ghosts."
"Wanna watch a movie."
"Sure let's watch Hairspray."
"Only because you are freaked out."
"2007 version."
"Ok." I think that this was one of those days where you just don't do anything. Especially when you've just talked to 2 ghosts.

See there is a reason why her sister died. I drew some sketches so I might put those in the next chapter. BTW the window idea was from a book called "Haunted Annapolis" and make sure to read the ghost books by Mindy Burgoyne (I think that's how her name is spelled). Also, an unfinished concept art thing of Heidi (left) and Ariel. Thanks for reading.
