I invite Penny in and we go up to my bedroom.
"Oh my gosh! What happened?"
"H-he dumped me."
"I'm so sorry Penny."
"By text!"
She starts crying and I go and sit next to her, trying to comfort her.
"I can't believe him. He couldn't even say it to your face."
She nods and wipes her tears away.
For the rest of the day we sit and watch movies like Pitch Perfect and The Notebook. We hang out for a whole and during the middle of one of our movies, I receive a text.
It's from him.
How dare he text me.
But I have more than one message.
Aspen: Katie let me explain
Zach: hey...
Max: Katie we need to talk
This is not looking good. I reply to all of them.
Katie to Aspen: (reads but doesn't reply)
Katie to Zach: hey?
Katie to Max: about what?
